Having owned all three, your assessment pretty much matches mine. The 1250 is a lot more flighty. I think the first 1200 (pre-ESA iirc) was the best GSA I owned. Jumping on its smaller and lighter, the clocks are modern and it doesn’t rock as much when revved. It doesn’t feel as substantial as the 1150. Onto the road and it’s lively very lively, free revving but with a very touchy throttle. With TC off it wheelies in 3rd over crests. But it’s not as relaxing or as lazy. It doesn’t fuel as well as the 1150 and the 1150 feels like it has a heavier flywheel and pulls from tickover. I’d perhaps like to try the 1200 that came after my 1150 to see if that has the same relaxed feel.
The 1250 is more dynamic, faster, and not as solid feeling or settled as earlier iterations.
It’s still a bloody good bike though.

Spoked set will have off road tyres on and these are 17" wheels so I'll put road tyres on

Motorworks care package?
IME - aftermarket discs seem to be a tad 'thinner' than the OE BMW ones and make the brakes feel 'spongy' (no matter how much I tried to bleed them up, repeatedly).
I also found the Brembo Callipers give better brake strength and longer-lasting seals than the Tokicos. (the gap around the pistons is significantly smaller on the Brembos so less crud gets behind the weather seal)
Are you missing a pair of plugs? (or are they just not visible.)

Had an hour today so removed the crash bars and auxiliary lights as I really don’t like them.
For some reason there’s 2 bash plates so one will be going back on.
I must have took off 15kg of add on tat since getting it.
I’ll get the shocks done soon and the service

5” off an RT. Yours would also fit. Had to get shorter bolts and RT speedo drive for front but it’s a straight swap. I’ll add a bit of length to front shock to allow for the slight drop at the front with a 17.

The 5.5 is quite desirable for people wanting to fit 180 tyres. They tend to make top dollar and don't really make much of a positive difference to the handling anyway.

Wossat? It looks like an 1150 with a 1100 beak, a modified GSA tank, rerouted exhaust and a new tail. All pretty sensible but what's the story?

eBay, 1150RT wheels anywhere from £200 to £300 a pair. Need RT speedo drive and rear wheel bolts too another £50.
I’ve got a set here though you can have for £250 with bolts and speedo drive

Have you got the cup tool for getting the oil filter out as its housed in the block and a bastard to get without the filter tool. If not i have one in the shed spare and can pop in the post
