Just collected this little beastie. 1969 Italian Gp200
Well blingy!
Not sure about that exhaust though, it looks a bit, erm, 'with a bit of a tweak here and a thingummy clamp there, I'm sure it'll fit'.
I'm sure there's an 'Ancellotti' race system for the GP200, or maybe one of these? Box systems are supposed to be getting popular again...

I'm not 100% about either the seat or the end can,but the can does remind me of the swarbrick exhausts I had on my rgv250

I'm a mod. I've always been a mod. My father was a mod before me.
My coat is a Crombie, my shirts are Ben Sherman; the boots on my feet were made by a German.
Outside the window sits a broken down Lambretta. I'm going to fix it when the weather gets better.

I really don't get the attraction of twazzing about on a clown bike. The whole monkey bike thing baffles me.
Over here we have youth mobs numbering sometimes over 100 twatting about on those godawful contraptions that look like a hacked up shopping cart powered by a mower engine. No registration or insurance, no plates, no helmets etc. They aren't road legal.
They have a habit of doing street & even freeway take overs. So far not enough of them have died to cause the cops to do anything about it (tennis nets strung across the road have been suggested) & one has to question the intelligence of playing in freeway traffic with 3 ton trucks like mine & also big rigs. They've also caused a couple of deaths by forcing guys on Harleys who tried to pass thenm off the road. They know better than to show up at the RockStore etc. It's only a matter of time before someone loses their shit & mows a bunch into speedbumps.

The Tracer will stay, thankfully. Bought a new helmet for this year, switching from AGV to Shoei.

Long time, no speak - not that I have ever been a regular contributor to the forum but I popped in a couple of weeks ago and noticed this thread and it galvanised me into action...
The KTM 890R and the Aprilia Factory left the garage last week and are now in the ownership of a local dealer who I have known for a while and was a useful racer with NG and Bemsee.
The Niken GT remains, mainly because said dealer couldn't put a value on it/see a market for it/see a buyer for it or whatever. I may try to sell it personally later in the year but, seeing as I'm not good at dealing with people generally, I cannot really see this as a particularly urgent project.
If I do retain it over the summer, it will undoubtedly be called into service for a couple of trackdays, as it was last year.
I haven't given up on bikes completely as I still have the old 2001 Mille R tucked away in the corner of the garage and a 2005 Bandit 1200.
My latest motorised acquisition, which I bought last month, has been at the back of my mind for a while and, given the state of local roads is proving to be just as enjoyable as a bike, even though it has four wheels. Its major asset is the Yamaha developed engine, so there is a bike connection there too. Five litres, V8 and 470bhp, helps

.
As you were, peeps.

Nope, but I see your logic.
2-door , 4 seat coupe.....Similar in profile to the Niken, in that I have only seen one other on the road in the past 18 months and well-liked in the press/on YouTube,

I'd keep the Niken Kev, think they only sold about 5 and you've got one of them. Rare stones and all that.

I'm a bit surprised after the publicity they got zipping about during the Tour de France for a while. I thought a fair few would think 'Hmmm....unusual and interesting'.

Don't think so but they featured quite heavily for a year or two when Yamaha were trying to push sales they must have supplied them. BMW GSs were the ones that seemed most frequent as camera bikes etc for a while. Not sure what the fleet was last year.
Edit: Nikens were official Tour support bikes in 2019, 20 and 21.
They did the Giro and La Vuelta too...3 year deal.

Guy I know has one, paid very little for it 2nd hand low mileage, they don't sell well despite being "amazing" apparently but weight is an issue...
