Oh...the bottled stuff is made in Staffordshire.

The cask stuff is still brewed in Cornwall though.

We had some lovely pasties in Cornwall. A few independent random shops and a small chain called Philps. Nice meat and veg with good peppery taste and really nice pastry. TBF, when I say they were lovely, thats compared to ginsters or supemarket own ones.

They're great until the crew forget to turn the Sandite applicators OFF when they go through point work and then a nice grinding paste mix is added to the slide chairs and rollers that the switch rails move over.

Ginsters (SPIT !) do not make pastys, they make pies that happen to be shaped a bit like pastys. Nothing with minced meat in it can ever be considered a pasty. Never tried a supermarket own-brand, but I suspect they are pies too.

Philps are IMHO one of the best.

Yup - the Swiss are utter bastards when it comes to speeding !

A mate did speed through a camera at the boarder - he braked hard when he remembered the camera, so about 70 (or 80 maybe!) in a 50

Fine was around 200€
