Zero miles ZX7-RR

Not a normal ZX7, but the WSBK homologation special.

Bit spendy tho'

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-unused-K ... P5-LXD4mj4

and I'd still rather an RC45... even if it had 30k on the clock.

0 miles and never been started, which basically means it never WILL be started and will live out its life in a glass case. You might as well buy a lego one :D

True. It wasn't very good in the day. I had 2 pals sell them coz the rear shock was shite. But it was a bike that somehow built up a cult following .Maybe the folk who bought a shit bike trying to keep the prices up ?

It's not a standard ZX7 tho.

It's the RR, from the factory it had flat slide carbs, an adjustable swingarm pivot and headstock, close ratio gearbox, single seat, special paint job and lots of other special tweaks.

It was the equivalent of an RC45/R7/916SPS in the Superbike Homologation stakes. So it is a special bike, I'm not sure it's 40k special.

I get all that..but you're paying 40k to look at it, as soon as you start it up you wipe thousands off the value.

Its only worth now is as a display item. Either that or accept the fact you'll lose your 40k.

Or another £20k would buy you a 0 mile Yamaha r7 from the same seller.
I knew I should’ve bought the rc30 for £7750.00 all them years ago.

I've been to the shop, I was going to buy the wife a CB500X, they didn't have one on the shop floor, but the sales guy said they'd just had a delivery and there were some in a non-descript unit they owned over the road.

He took us over to look at the CB500, but they unit was full of rare and exotic stuff, quite a few of those rare GSXR750 homologation specials, a few Bimota's, R7s, RC30/45's, OWO1, etc.. I think they just drip feed them into the market to keep up demand.

Closest thing I have to a homologation special is a genuine rc30 paddock stand
