A good run on the cross trainer each morning has meant that I can fit into my trousers again!! WooHoo! Just need to keep this up and there are murmurs of the "Return of the Six Pack" which was to be disputed as insulation is more important!

All I ever brought back was some ropey sangria and a toy donkey.

You relieved me of a lot of beer and pizza

Sat in the pub the other night reminiscing over the 'good ol' days' and being reminded of a one of the best office pranks I've seen.
Bloke went on three weeks annual leave. In his absence his work mate sprinkled cress seed in his keyboard and diligently sprayed it with water every other day until, when the victim returned, his keyboard was totally covered in a green carpet of cress.
Genius.

I've just run one at our Romanian office. Their connection cost about £30 a month.

I've been camping for a couple of weeks. The could who own and run the site stop at the end of October and go to South America for two months, except this year. They're both anti vaxxers so will be staying home.

When I were a lad I had a summer job at IBMs big site at North Harbour in Portsmouth over the summer break in 2003 (my Mum and Dad were both life long IBMers).
I remember being amazed that the Internet there was more than 1.5 Mbps.

Making it into the garage after the fuel light has been flashing for 17 miles. I got 14.1 litres in my 14 litre tank! Phew!

Dropped an invoice off at the other side of town and took the pup (well, 20 weeks old now) in the van so I could take him for a walk afterwards.
The good part? Driving home after the walk and he's on the double passenger seat next to me fairly sleepy and every once in a while just nuzzling my arm. It's the little things that make a day

I'm sitting here giggling mostly!! I'm also a bit grumpy as my coffee machine has worked out how to make the coffee bit unscrew - messy and annoying!!
But, I got chatted up last night! I generally don't notice if a guy is chatting me up - I figure he is just chatting/being friendly/being nice. I've been told often that I've missed someone chatting me up
Anyway - yesterday I picked up an order from a food depot in the valley and the guy that was sorting it and I were chatting. And they have loads of out of date frozen food, so I was being offered lots of 'spare' food (I need a bigger freezer!!). The conversation got a bit smutty when sausages were mentioned but he seemed to get embarrassed so we moved on to other silly stuff, less smutty
He messaged me last night with some info I'd asked for and we spent the night chatting on messenger.
Was a bit weird that he thought "I would chew guys like him for breakfast"

Not sure what that means or why he would think that

But hey - dinner date on!
