An English scene, barley field, old oak tree and a Triumph, one for countrymen of my adopted home.
As Welshman in exile, flying the St George Cross, is probably a step too far.

I stopped to take this as one for the riding challenge thread, but just like my bike I’m a step or two behind the times, so I’ll drop it in here instead.

It certainly is. I thought I'd found a barber's pole on my travels today but it was one of those bloody flags wrapped round a pole.
Anyway, here's another Triumph. I've been round Co Durham and North Yorkshire, trying to avoid the rain. Not entirely successfully

On pole position for the Armoy road races.
The only way this will ever happen will be if all the others don't show up.

Welsh Muffin had an important presentation to give, so I thought it best to give her a bit more freedom at home

No, butter first, then jam, then clotted cream

You put the jam on first?
Can't imagine you can spread jam over cream as easily as you can spread cream over jam? I haven't had one for years and I think the a last time I did I just spooned the clotted cream into my gob and then had a jam scone, but next time I find myself at Fremington Quay, I'll conduct some thorough research...

The ruins of Bonamargy friary. The big Zed does some off road!
I banged three hours riding in today before it got busy and hot. Aiming for another early run tomorrow.

no picture - just and observation.
Th Scrambler handles much better with the tyre pressures set at the manufacturers suggest - 36 front / 42 back
I ran it to Southampton and back last week at 15 front 17 back :-0
I guess that was why it was handling a bit funny ...
Check your tyre pressures , dudes...

I have a thing about tyre pressure,it's the cheapest 'feel good' mod anyone will ever do.

Indeed it is - I was in a hurry / being lazy. I had checked them "a while ago" and they were fine ...

Off out at 7.30 this morning with a vague outline of a route taking in Hawes and Devil's Bridge. The road from Hawes to Ingleton is really good fun, I need to ride it more often. 170 miles in all

That 'limb removing' fence wire would tend to keep one sensible.
