The Moho doesn't accelerate, merely gathers momentum, but frenchies have a nasty habit of coming out behind you on the slip road and blocking you in!
I have decided the best course of action now is to keep coming and let them either back off or move over, might is right!
I tend to stick to the outside of the slip road lane or right lane if it has two lanes so when you get to the inside line of the motorway inside lane you are entering it first if a gap is there.
I'm talking about people on the slip road behind you overtaking you, then blocking you in!

Why do folk make things complicated

Just bought a brake lever guard for the GSXR. Bag contained the guard, bolt, screw, spacer and washer

Had a quick glance at the enclosed sheet to see where the spacer went. This.....

WTF? Why not just type the instructions?

Then, guess what?

Fuck me. I didn't need the instructions, but would have been stuffed if I had.

Just keep things simple ;)

Effing NHS, and in particular our GP practice.

Once upon a time we had a very good system that let us order repeat prescriptions. Then they decided we all need to move to the NHS app. Not only is that a major faff to organise, needing photos of passports and pictures of you to avoid someone impersonating me, and then taking over a week to authorise, it then fails to work when you try to use it. I have tried about 10 times today, and it boots me out every time.

:D

During the first covid lockdown, we were given a set of dog clippers.

But Filly wasn't going to use them on the dogs without any practice.

The first cut she did on me effectively followed what the hairdresser had done.

A few weeks later, second cut not quite so good.

Third one? I looked like one of those penguins with the 'exploding head' style ...

I signed up with Lloyds Direct. So far its been faultless and gets delivered by RM to my door. They even remind me to order! Never looked back...

Another vote for Lloyds, they occasionally don’t have 1 item in stock so they send the others and the outstanding ones follow. Good system, works for me.

The NHS app rocks, seriously better than having to shlep down to the surgery.

I use the NHS app all the time to reorder prescriptions. Takes about 20 secs, very efficient. Can’t remember it being difficult to set up, and our ( new) practice has been great (just moved house/ practice 2 years ago). 👍👍

Easily solved if you take the guard off

Survived so far. :D (I started with one of the guards but I looked like a gooseberry so abandoned them and went unguarded and been doing that for years now. Saved a fortune. Eventually replaced the mains Wahl clippers with Wahl rechargeable. More convenient but the quality ain't the same).

True enough, even though I put mine on charge for the whole day it always sounds like it's going to die before finishing the job.
Still, it does let me cut my hair in the back garden which removes the need to clean up after.

The battery seems fine and it's v slow charging so should last a few years (if I'm right in my theory :D ). I get about 4 trims per charge and I oil the clipping bit with Wahl oil every time after. It just feels cheap and plastic-ey compared with the 25+ years old one. I sometimes use that one just for the buzz - literally. The sound takes me back to haircuts when I was a kid - those old ones probably lasted longer than the barbers.

My neighbours selling up has bmp, well maybe just slightly upset by it would be better. They've lived next door for over 20 years and we know them and their extended family well. They're a really lovely family! Never know who you're going to get next do you!

They've been brilliant :)
