We've got a cottage in Devon booked for May/June, company we've booked it with will refund all our money if travel restrictions mean we can't go,
That's what they say, worth looking at their terms and conditions, and Trustpilot reviews. After seeing the Trustpilot reviews she cancelled her card to ensure that her card wasn't later debited. Just saying.
Feeling quite lucky that the place we want to go to in July, and have reserved a week, won't even take a deposit yet.

That's what most of the chalet companies are doing for next season (since this season is a wipe out). You can book but they'll ask for a deposit much nearer the time!!!

If you get the sudden desire to wear Lederhosen, eat snails with a glass of port, have a siesta and then end the evening with a passeggiata we'll know it's proper serious....

Slightly sore injection site, nothing else. Going mountain biking with Mrs irie this morning.

ps. Got to say, when I had my jab I'd never before seen so many unfit/obese shufflers in one place.

Had my Pfizer jab last week. Sore arm for a couple of days and that was it. No other side affects. No discount on Viagra either :D

I saw a picture of our town centre in the 60s and one from recent times. The one outstanding thing was the amount of fat people in the recent picture with not one in the older picture! They do say we're an obese nation now and those pictures certainly highlighted it!

Sincerely,

Obese shuffler! :D

EDIT: Not sure if it's of interest or use but; lives in Weymouth and he's 75/76)

I see the UK has announced they're already working on new version to counteract the mutations due in Autumn... just like we do every year with the flu vaccine.
Probably be September before the US media even reports on the need for a new vaccine every year & they will act shocked at this news as though they had no idea.

A single dose of the Pfizer Covid vaccine provides “very high” protection without a ‘top up’ dose, according to Norwich researchers.

A University of East Anglia study has found that the vaccine becomes 90pc effective after 21 days – supporting UK plans to delay the timing of a second injection.
