Re: Stealth Omicron
Sheep, pigs, stupid etc etc etc
Nice. Just how I want to see myself addressed in my favourite 'chat' place
TBF, if I had a real life, I would be here a lot less if only because of these attitudes (along with the 'thou shalt not kill a foetus - ever' line)
It's getting to the point that there are more threads I shouldn't read than ones I do
What really made me roll my eyes during the initial vaccine argument was knowing that virtually all of the anti vaxxers (brits, no idea of the background of the french ones I knew) have used in the past, and probably still do, recreational drugs of all sorts. So, they were happy to go buy something a bit random, not produced with any regulations, from some random bloke they've met through a contact so they could get a buzz. After which, they'll go eat MacDonalds and drink more alcohol than I would drink in months.
BUT
Vaccines are bad for you because - BigPharma FFS
I do accept that the big pharma companies do have ways of getting doctors etc to use certain drugs over others.
There's a big conversation in Ireland, possible more places, at the mo because menopause medications don't seem to make enough money - doctors are almost refusing to prescribe what is needed, instead they want to push anti depressants on women of a certain age, the only conclusion many are coming to is that ADs make more money for those making and prescribing
I don't know if that is actually true or not, but it does have a ring of possible/probable to it - but I can't get the information needed to be sure, so I'll sit on the fence a bit. Weak? Maybe, but I won't fire accusations of corruption without knowing a lot more
But testing of vaccines etc - as DT said, the regulations are massive and strict.
Anyway. I really don't consider myself to be a sheep, uneducated, pork or any other belittling title some of you like to use when people don't agree with your point of view
The simple fact that these get thrown around makes me reverse away from 'discussion' - you can't have discussion once insults start being throw, or phrases to belittle others

Not covid but Oxycontin. I spent a few weeks earlier this year reducing the dose of Oxycontin my dad is on, I couldn't get him off it completly but the dose he now takes is manageable. He's 87. I highly recommend The Pharmacist on Netflix, here's a few more:

Re: Stealth Omicron
The two don't correlate exactly to one all seeing answer! they are just examples of how i feel about these things.Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Tue Nov 08, 2022 11:18 am It's the foundation of all conspiracy theories and the like though isn't it?
Reality is big, complicated, vague and undirected. imagining there's a controlling hand behind it all is comforting, even if it's also unpleasant.
TBH Greeny, I'm still struggling with which way you actually lean on Corona On the one hand you tell us we're all sheep for following "Big Pharma" and doing as we're told, but on the other you also tell is the Government deliberately didn't tell people what to do so they'd be able to blame us all for spreading Corona. So which is it?
I think the gov "bend" the rules regularly to adapt to the ongoing evolution of our world and my views do to, as do all our views as we get older and wiser/lazier..
I was not targeting anyone on here btw with my pig comments, i include myself a human too!
