He's one of the three that just turned up and decided to live with us. He was in a bit of a state, totally matted up. He got taken to the vets for a chip check and a shave.

We call him Morris.

I guess if he's still there he's forgiven you for the indignity and decided that his posse really did pick the right people to serve them.

The top three are the ones who just turned up and decided to stay.

Morris, Laszlo (although the wife calls him Larry) and Eddie.

The black one with the patchy coat at the bottom is Dave, he's from the RSPCA.

There's Squirt too, she came from a local rescue, but she hates Dave so you'll never get them in the same picture.

The hounds do this bow, apparently a greeting and invitation to play.

We bow back. They then often bow back and it keeps going!

Just got the DNA results back. I'm surprised there's not more German Shepherd in there.

Yep. Woods right behind my house is absolutely covered in them. Where they grow, wild garlic grows - so I’ll be out next week with a couple of bin bags
