Can't think why but I like that :wtf:

Maybe it reminds me of the bikes I grew up looking at as a pre-teenager?.... Don't think I'd want to pay £3.5k for it though.
Personally not because I haven't got the skills to restore it.

But...it looks 100% original and actually not in too bad nick so someone will buy that.

Interesting and I keep looking at similar beasties. Fortunately, I'm a garage short of buying this!

GT250 was the worst bike I ever owned, Im sure someone must have previously bent it, it was horrible. Owned it for about 5 weeks.
Love the old T500 and also the little old T200 invader, fantastic engines.

Copied from another page:
“this was an experimental radial engine made by German tuning ace: Rudi Rupp in the early 60's. Rudi was know for amazing two stroke tuning.. many championship bikes were created using technology he pioneered. Seen here in an R60/? frame for show purposes. I don't think it actually ran.”

Try a Norton Jubilee for size. It was actually a much worse bike than the GT250 but it was my first bike when 17 yrs old so I had zero expectation for the Norton. I'd owned an RD250C before the GT 250 and the GT250 was shite by comparison.

It's an original (ish) Z900, not a Z900RS, the GS Thou is spoiled by the tail pipe

Maybe it is but it would be the bike I'd choose of the three if given a choice :D

The early gs's , 550 and 750 were my first il4... Even though they were older bikes when I owned them to a young man barely out of puberty they were fantastic.

I may not think the same if I rode one today but its good to have memories

As standard bikes, the Honda was the fastest and best handling but least reliable, the Z the most reliable but worst handling, the GS somewhere in between, if I had to choose one to ride it would be the Honda because it's the most modern feeling, which is hardly surprising given it's the newest bike there, then the GS, then the Z.

Puts me in mind of the ducati desmo 250 I nearly bought as a 17 year old. The deal didn't happen because the chap who's bike it was wouldn't put the back wheel on it so I COULD TRY IT! £30 he wanted too! I saw the said desmo a few months later when the poor unfortunate who bought it was jumping up and down on the kickstart but to no effect I only ever saw it running after a push start.
