I also found out we're going to NYC for my 60th next year :o , but I mustn't let on I know... :hmmm:
After lengthy negotiations with our 17 year old we are going to Pais for my 60th next year -

If I'd been entered into the negotiations, we'd have been going to Eastbourne! :D

Collected wife,

Serious Q, do you have access to counselling when it all gets too much?

Went to Weybridge to see a mate build a Jota engine ( I have never had the opportunity to assemble any engine before). the third tie he has had to do it. Interesting experience - esp as he has just sent a note saying he needs take the cams out as the exhaust value clearances are now all wrong.
So that was the last 3 hours wasted!

Went up on the 1200 Scrambler - which felt oddly gutless after the miles on the Diavel :hmmm:

In short, very much so. I speak to someone each month and have access to counselling and support. I also have good fellow priests to talk with and we look upwards to Christ for help in our prayer life. It is not easy at times, but as the scripture says "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."
We practice what we preach.

And ClergySupportTrust are awesome in their work as well. I know the CEO and studied with him.

That is one of the very few things I miss. I mean, I adore the mountains here and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. But the English countryside is special. Maybe just cos I grew up in Somerset so we had the levels and the Mendips!! But I do love that bit when I visit :D :D

Decided to have one last attempt at Madeleines. I've never succeeded and was convinced I had a decent recipe this time - and no, I didn't use the OOD flour!!

Anyway. I still can't bloody make them :( :( Did one lot in a tin and the other in a silicone 'tray'. Both baked exactly the same. Taste lovely but don't look like Madeleines :( :(
