£100 from circa £10K, though I think only £8K was in the draw this month

I wish.
I think I might upgrade my council spec joint Santander account to an Edge account, the cashback should cover the fees... But the wife and I will then be able to open an Edge saver account each which is offering 7% for a year on amounts up to 4k.
So 8k out of PBs and into two Edge savers at 7% for 12 months.
Works out about £560 in interest if I've done my sums right, which is £500 more than my PBs paid last year.

£560 interest will probably attract Tax, depending on how much of a baller you are. You get between a grand and nothing in 'free' interest, depending on your earnings.
TBF it'd be, what...40% of £60 though?

Well half will be in my name and half in hers... There's another 20k in a bond that matures soon, I might look at putting some of that in a cash ISA to get round the tax thing.
We're both in the higher rate income tax bracket, but I thought you still got about £1200 allowance before you paid tax on savings?

Ah right OK, so £560 total - yeah you should be fine then, assuming you're not making interest elsewhere too.
AIUI you get a grand on interest before paying tax, £500 if you're a 40% payer and nothing if you're a 45% payer. You would have used up all of your personal allowance on your basic salary.

Bugger all this month
Would transfer it elsewhere but need to keep it tax free.

£150 on 44K, about where it should be. Averaging just over 4% at present.

FFS, I officially changed my address, phone number and name with the NS&I - went to log in, just in case, you know! I've still got to bloody phone them (on a French phone) to be able to change my phone number to the French one so I can log into the site!!
I know I won't have won anything as there's very very little in there, especially in comparison to most of you guys!! But I just want to see.
And, if I did by any slim chance win anything in the last 8 years, I need to know if they sent a cheque or reinvested it!!
Still know I won't have won anything, but I can dream!! LOL

Have you got a UK bank/building society account?
Their security does make Fort Knox look a bit feeble. It looks like it's been designed by a committee that employed as many IT security consultants as there were people on the committee.

Nothing Uk bank wise. I get why I have to phone but had sort of wildly hoped that they'd make access relatively easy once they had all the documents!! LOL

Ah. There could be complications. According to the NS&I people:
Can I have a Premium Bonds account if I live abroad? If you live abroad but still hold a UK bank or building society account in your name then you can have a Premium Bonds account.
I guess they only pay direct into UK banks now (although they could reinvest them but at some point they'd have to transfer money out to the holder).

I'm pretty sure I haven't won anything!! LOL
However, I do have a bank account that has a UK IBAN so pretty sure they can pay into that?
Last time I read up they said people living out of the UK can have Premium Bonds - if they won't pay into a UK IBAN that isn't in the UK physically that's a bit shit as most UK passport holders that are EU residents (or at least, French residents) are having their UK bank accounts shut down.
I'm pretty sure that I can't open a UK based bank account with a French address, and I can't use a UK address (legally) cos I don't have UK residency.
Sooooooo - here's hoping that, on the off chance I've won anything, they'll pay it into Revolut!!

£50 which is good going considering I've only got £100 in bonds.
I drew all the rest of my money out March 2021 to buy another car which not surprisingly was the last time I won anything.
So I've got 2027 to look forward to

What's that....twelve thousand percent APR, roughly?
Stick that in your 7% Santander Edge pipe and smoke it Bob.
