Down the CMC to sit on some bikes... but it was shut!

Sounds like a plan.

A short trip to check out a place I’d heard about.
Thought I’d arrived after it had closed, but further inspection shows it does not open on Sundays Doh!
When is it going to warm up? It’s still on the edge of my comfort zone, literally, as Skub says once above about 60ish it became uncomfortable.

It's very cool the way they painted the building to match your Trumpet.ajlog wrote: Sun May 02, 2021 7:59 pm A short trip to check out a place I’d heard about.

Met my KTM foodie buddie on Saturday to go to The Griffin Inn, Fletching for lunch. We went Dutch and I left my card with him to pay my half contactless while I went to the loo. When I came back he said "It was too much to pay with contactless". Two starters, two mains, one coffee (me), one glass of wine (him) and tap water. £89 which was rounded up to £100 with the tip
Fuck food! I don't want it anymore! I had chicken livers for starters - butchers can't even give them away.

Took the new aquired Dullville on a couple of hundred mile trip to see what its like comfort wise. Its great, so the Street Triple, which is so uncomfortable after 30 minutes for me, is consigned to local hooning.
Because of its luggage carrying abilities, the Honda is great for going to the beach as I can secure helmet and jacket in top box, trousers and boots in one of the panniers. I usually have to cart it all with me.
Rode a big loop up from home north up to Alzira, across west to Gandia on the coast, then south down to Pego, west across to Alcoi before heading south to Alicante, and then westward home.
The ride was a mixture of motorways, fast (and empty) A roads and small back roads. The bike was even fun on the twisties. And comfortable, really comfortable. Will be great on my planned trips further afield once the EU opens up.
Couple of photos of the view between Alcoi and Alicante, a really nice stretch of road.
Oh, and around 26°c and sunny all day-people still on Alicante's beach when I left there at 6pm

A damp trip to Marlborough, which confirmed my new Daytona boots are indeed waterproof (and that the mudguards on the Speed Twin are indeed useless)

Had a long day out riding today. I really lucked out on the weather as didn't see any rain or wet roads (apart from a couple of fords!). Others in the same area are reporting getting drenched in quick sharp showers. I had to take a picture as I went through this infamously named village. Yep - you know what they say : boys don't grow up, they just get older!

A good couple of hours in the saddle today. It's really cool to be incommunicado for just a little while before the 'must do' list takes over life again. Battery recharge.
Since you asked @Wossname Have some Torr Head.

I could cry! We should be there there next week for the NW200, we always do the N Antrim coast road as we leave the boat. Stop at Cushendun to inhale, Torr Head then Ballintoy Harbour for food, then up to Benone where we stay. Sniff sniff sob sob ....

Are those shiny bits over the side of the ZRX engines additional frame braces?
