Finally bit the bullet and ordered a new Dunlopillo Firmrest latex mattress to replace our existing one (same model), which is 25 years old! It’s still really comfy and is barely showing any wear and certainly no sinkage! I just hope that over the oast quarter of a century they haven’t ruined the comfort and design!

It was expensive back in the day but my word we’ve had good value for money!

Mr WD took delivery of his Harman Revel Performa3 206 floor standing speakers and has spent the afternoon setting them up. He’s a happy bunny now! :D

I'm hoping I can't really go wrong at that price.

Reviews are mixed, most say it's great, some say it's slow... however there are two versions of the phone, 3gb and 4gb ram.

All the great reviews are based on the 4gb and all the slow reviews based on the 3gb.

Ordered just now, delivery sometime around 6pm tonight :)
How you getting on with this? Need a larger phone and this may fit the bill.
It's aces.

A massive upgrade over my old three year old Samsung A5.

My only concern was the size. It's a smidge bigger than my iPhone XR, but doesn't seem to be any thicker. It's quite weighty, but that makes it feel more quality, imho.

Came with a gel case in the box, which I've fitted, but the glass back is nice, shame the case covers it.

Camera is good, screen is great. Really can't fault it for £157... you'd thing it cost three times that.

All the standard Xiaomi apps have ads in them as default, but you can turn off 'recommendations' in the apps settings.... not that I use the standard browser, etc...

I was worried about the rear finger print reader, but it's actually a really natural position, but I've turned on face unlock as well and it works just as well as on the iPhone.

It's dual sim, I'm considering giving work the iphone back and putting their sim in it.

I've been hammering it playing Angry Birds 2 for hours on end and watching disney plus stuff, as well as friendface and tapatalk and it's easily lasting a full day.

Yup, seems Amazon have put the price up in the last week.

If you can wait and you want it cheaper, check out GearBest, but make sure you order the international version.

Make sure you get the 4gb RAM one, not the 3gb.

Some of the review units were 3gb and the reviewers complain about slow downs. The 4gb ones don't. I think most of the UK ones are 4gb, but worth a check if you're looking at refubs.

Hallelujah!!! After weeks of waiting finally managed to get hold of 20 bags of multi-finish for an outstanding job.
The stuff is like gold dust with eBay ‘thieving barstards‘ wanting £50 a bag for the stuff  (Normally about £7.00)

Sincerely hope British Gypsum get back up to speed and they end up stuck with the stuff.

They are Ikea Galant overdesk shelves, and they'll sit right pretty on my 2 Galant desks and clear up a fair amount of usable real estate

I'm loving mine.

Why couldn't you get on with it, the only thing different to a Samsung is the app drawer... and you can turn that one if you really want too.
