Other costs are cheaper though, such as vehical, tax fuel, tyres, labour rates and the weather means no salt thrown on the road in the winter and able to ride all year round, so get a full years use out of my insurance, not 6 or 8 months.
I've just paid almost €700 to insure the Hypermotard!!!

I only got the reg number on Wednesday and wanted to collect on Friday. I'll do better next year, I promise.

I'll start a thread on it this week but the bike exceeds expectations. :D

My CB1000R was £174 fully comp, could have got it for £138 if I only wanted it covered for theft when it's in my garage and a £450 excess, fuck that, I'll pay the extra £36

Apparently they all have to be insured for business use but I only rarely use one of them for that purpose & get significantly less ppm than when I use the car  3 bikes in all & probably only worth £12k total, really beginning to wonder if it's worth all the costs...
Welcome to the club. That happened to me... "ah, motorcycle instructors are at a higher risk of crashing"

Really? Do you have ANY evidence for that or is it just another bit of made-up actuary nonsense?
