Had the same thought with my latest card. Plus the numbers are on the reverse only, seeing as everyone taps to pay these days.

I've got a happy memory of me & my sort of girlfriend in a bar during the dying embers of the tchunk days signing each others slips for each round, just for fun. I think we ended up signing the other's card with false names - M Mouse etc.

The raised numbers were a stress raiser and could cause the card to split down the middle. It's the main reason for the change to printed numbers AFAIK.
