What trail was that down?
"Of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?"
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."

Commuting on fumes today, managed to do the first 2/3rds in Eco before resorting to trail mode.

Glorious ride in to work this morning, sun was rising and gently burning off the Weald mist/fog and I managed to bully my tired legs up Bopeep Hill and Firle Beacon and was rewarded with views like this.

No mean feat - but on the Evil I assume.
The weather forecast here was grim - but it never materialised. Hence I didn't go out!

Hit the Downs today - on a manual bike. First time in a year.
Took the Privateer 161 for its first outting after it spat me off in Morzine.
Only managed about 15K but I still managed to get up to Truleigh Hill (and back, without falling off)

Bugger me - did I have the suspension set up hard for Morzine or what! All now backed off

Scream if you wanna go faster……..52mph down a very bumpy access track off Firle Beacon…….eeek. I won’t mention the one handed wobble back from the Longman Brewery shop involving a face plant into a corn field when I tried adjusting my grip on the precious beer box😂.

You can buy Long Man from the local Co Op - no need for one handed death grip stunts

A very slow and sedate roll to work this morning. Note the orangey sun caused by the smoke from American wild fires.
