I didn't like him in Moto3 and Moto2 as he was favoured and beating the Brits.
But after his big crashes, he is mellowing and growing up.

I expected a better showing from Morbidelli on his new Ducati,but there he was,still behind Fabio.

I couldn't help thinking Zarco's crash will be the shape of things to come in 24.

Just saw a clip of him coming into the garage after the first run and as soon as he took of his helmet clearly said "Wow" to the engineers followed by a huge grin

Whatever it is, it won't happen overnight. I foresee a period of wandering around in the wilderness for Honda and Yamaha, until such time as they start poaching European talent, big style.

Alberto Puig is under no illusions. His reply when asked if he was surprised at MM being fast on the Ducati,he replied in his usual sarcastic manner,"was anyone surprised"?

I wouldn't be surprised if Alberto Puig was shown the exit door soon. Like all of the top Honda brass he's tainted goods and MM's exit and speed on the Ducati has just reinforced that message. Honda have gone from all-conquering to dinosaurs in less than 5 years.

Last I heard was he was intending to see out his contract at Alpine. But things can change very quickly in motorsport. He would be the ideal candidate for Honda, though.

Valencia was as well organised for spectators as it has been the last two years.
No queueing to get into the car parks on Saturday or Sunday, and we were out of the circuit and onto the A3 motorway within 5 minutes of getting into the car on both days. No queuing getting the stands either, plenty of gates and staff saw to that. €15 for a programme though, and €10 for a pint of beer

Unfortunately, the usual party antics in Cheste on Saturday night were very subdued. For some reason, most of the streets were closed to bikes, and it has lost all the excitement and atmosphere. I won't be spending Saturday night yhere next year....
