I'm not totally convinced thats that big an issue, anywhere with heated water thats not being used a lot is susceptible.
There was an issue in a hospital that I think Potter worked for at one point? That had it. Barrow or Morcambe, some place in the deep south anyway.
After a refurb they should clear the system through. Dead legs in the pipe runs should also be avoidedas they allow is to have a breeding ground with no flow.
There's more to it than that but I just bray nails in and am no Plum Bear so don't know the full details.

Coming from a background of money means you have access to the levels of education someone from a working background cannot afford, so those people from money gain a higher IQ though better education and mingle with the 'boys' that have links to others in the know, this is why the jobs that require good academic skills/accredidation are the most well paid.

If you were not offered any education at all when you were young would you be as intelligent as you are now? No is the answer btw.
The answer is YES btw. You can't buy or learn intelligence, what you have is what you were born with.

But you still need to learn how to use what you have?

So what you're basically saying (although not specifically articulating) is that poor people are poor because they're thick and rich people are rich because they're smart, yeah?
I might not have put it so bluntly but yes I suppose so.
There are obvious exceptions and it’s not one rule fits all, but generally self-made rich people tend to have better solutions and ideas than self-made poor people.
How about things like talent, do you equate that to intelligence as well? Some people can be thick as shit but still have a talent like playing the guitar or piano without lessons that those who have been taking lessons for over 20 years fully admire and aspire to!

I saw a program on top sports stars like David Beckham. His brain is as clever (in it's own way) as a maths genius.

You are not born with a talent you earn it. It's actually very annoying when people say oh you are so talented you play so well you are so lucky. How about the literal thousands of hours of practice I've put in since I was a kid and the hours daily I put in to keep it. You think a shit hot mx rider was born like that, or that he has to work like hell to be that good?
Some of the best heavy metal guitarists in the world never had a lesson they just disappeared into the bedroom as a dysfunctional kid and emerged 10 years later as a metal genius. You have to put the time in.

You do need to put the time in but often you are only competing with the small % of people that have the right genes.

To get rich, you’d have to have a talent for doing something that people will pay for. Most good players make zero money, or a few pennies.

But again, they tend to be so thick, that they can't handle the money, so they ruin themselves and their friends with drink and drugs.

It's always the same, poverty breeds extravagance. As soon as someone without money gets money, the first thing they need to do is make sure people know they have money, then it's simply a race to the bottom.

I tend towards the view that money and/or education are pretty meaningless in judging people.

I have known quite a few millionaires, some were lovely people, some were shit. Some were well educated, some were not, and there was pretty well zero correlation between loveliness and education.

I have also known quite a few very poor people, including some homeless people who had literally no money whatsoever. Some of them were lovely people too, and some I would not piss on if they were on fire. Again some were well educated, some not, and again there was no discernable pattern between education and niceness.

I try to judge people as people, money and education are things that are strongly linked to luck and not a lot else.

I'm not sure anecdotal evidence is very helpful. We need stats

And don't forget we need the poor and lovely to tidy up after us and wipe our arses when we're old

I doubt many high IQ wealthy self-made people wipe a lot of senior bottoms but they sure can afford a lot of low IQ underachievers to do it on their behalf. Loveliness is optional.

I think grafting correlates more strongly with wealth than intelligence.

I totally agree.

It's a lifestyle. You can't just rock up and buy the latest tunes with best turntables and the latest clothes to impress the ladies and exspect to get any respect from people that actually know about music, same with you with the metal scene.

We are coming from the same place here!

I have lots of respect for all the Reggae music i play. It is nothing more than a learning curve and a dream i have been pursuing for the past 5 years. DJ'ing has come late to me as i have always been mainly a producer since 2005.

I came from Hip Hop, House and Techno but the Reggae/Dub scene has always been around me what with being a born and bred Bristolian. It's in my Soul!

The Mx rider was probably born / developed with particularly good balance, reactions, hand-eye co-ordination, etc., along with reduced fear / self-preservation. Then given a suitable opportunity and encouragement to use those attributes.
