Say what !!!! You've bought a Gen3 1290 ? Man that thing was epic/scary. I rode it the day after riding your MT10, as you recall i adored the MT10, but the 1290SDR left me somewhat blown away when i rode it.
thoughts/chats like this remind me of why i loved bikes for so long... Obviously they've been replaced in my world with MTBs, but if i had an unlimited space/budget/time i could easily see something like one of these 2 things in there.

The one currently(?) for sale on PB made me think hmmmm , shall I but nah, I haven't, and am not going to so it'll just be the green one with me at Pembrey this time ( unless Kev comes, I still wouldn't rule it out, whatever he says currently )- sorry!weeksy wrote: ↑Mon Jul 10, 2023 9:32 amSay what !!!! It was just a little experimenet to test your current potential level of interest in riding a motorbike
P.S. That was a Gen2 we rode that day at Premier when I had my first MT - the only one I'd consider is the Gen3- (current model) one

The West is sold out anyway. I'm going to get stung now for leaving it so late! £300 for 2 nights at the East.

Oh jeepers... i'd be sleeping at the track if it was that much.
Although i am far more used to being in a tent now.

Two Air BnB's have now fallen through. The BnB that @tricky is staying in is fully booked.
What is Kidwelly/Camarthen like to stay in? Seems to be a few more options up there.

Hotel Vango for me...hope it's not too windy, too wet, too hot, too cold, other than that all good.

Undecided yet. Most likely the MT09 but I might opt for a comfortable ride across the country and use the RT.

You might have a choice of a few on the day anyway
P.s. Did you prod twids to come along when you were down his way as I did mention it to him when I dropped into his place a couple of months ago while in Wales

Yep, he did mention he was up for it potentially, but don't know if he did anything about it
