Little un recently had a lovely new nukeproof mtb. Had a couple of hours yesterday and she’s starting to like it. Even a little wheelie 😃

Twingey knee cut the ride short. Just finished icing it and a few “easy” days on the EMTB loom.

It’s about the closest place on Instagram. Technically it’s the access road to Beddingham Hill and the Trig point at the top of Itford Hill

In the forest, in the rain.

Most of the local stuff is closed at the moment for felling diseases trees. That leaves only the really steep stuff that I usually steer clear of

I went out for a roll around just at the right time yesterday, went to the usual local woods for a quick play and to hit my Nemesis feature again, which i did first run down. So was happy at that. Must admit i was slightly lacking in power at times today, but had enough to enjoy myself :)

Really ought to update this more, lots of riding at pines chasing KOMS and playing on the jump lines doing skids and dad wheelies. Occasional trip to peaks, today was a bit moist but the ride, views and cafe never disappoint. The company was okish too @millemille

So I have a “new” reasonably flat 13 mile commute from home to Lewes (where I pick up the train to avoid the cycle path that runs alongside the A27 where it’s a dual carriageway). It’s along the new cycle path that runs parallel to the A27 but does it’s best to keep the hateful road behind trees and bushes. Today I was setting a brisk pace when I noticed a flashing light in the distance behind me so I upped the pace. At Drusillas I was overtaken by an older guy on a steel tourer with mudguards and panniers. He utterly beasted me as I tried to keep up with him all the way to Lewes. I’m sitting at work feeling rather broken.

We've had a great few days in mid Wales, Tuesday was riding the black (really not a black) trail at Brechfa, no photos because we didn't really stop.
The trail is good fun, a couple of descents that you will into and realise that it's quite steep but nothing too extreme.

Today, a loop around the Elan valley, first 6 or 7 miles across open mountain and the rest a loop around the reservoirs

Oh I’ve royally borked my elbow and shoulder following my mate, going for an overtake and dropping it.🤬
