Re: World Cup 22 The Sweepstake Thread
There's only 6 left and still time for those to go. Is there a team left better than Belgium?

Currently rated No 2 in the world.Dodgy69 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 17, 2022 3:55 pmCount Steer wrote: ↑Thu Nov 17, 2022 1:14 pmThere's only 6 left and still time for those to go. Is there a team left better than Belgium?
Belgium do well, seen it before.
(I used to stay in a hotel they used. Whenever the team were there it was like a magnet for some very expensive looking, young, professional women. Not the classic training routine )
Anyone else?...6 numbers left.

A guy in the pub just asked me to name 3 Qatar players. I said Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and George Harrison!

Ghana and Cameroon aren't in FIFAs top 30....but they ARE in the World Cup.
I reckon the conditions will suit them. Be a shock if they win it though.

Blimey, I don't know how to cheer for the French, could it be as simple as a little smile, a heart skip or do I have to fist pump when they win all their games, confused.

You will also need to master the 'Gallic shrug' if they contrive to lose any games...Newey wrote: ↑Sat Nov 19, 2022 8:58 pmBlimey, I don't know how to cheer for the French, could it be as simple as a little smile, a heart skip or do I have to fist pump when they win all their games, confused.

Re: World Cup 22 The Sweepstake Thread
And so....it begins.
Still 6 numbers left if anyone else wants to play. As said before, if any of the spares make it through to the knockout rounds I'll work out a way of offering them as 'lucky losers'. There's a couple that I think could be a bit handy.

Re: World Cup 22 The Sweepstake Thread
Any prime numbers left? That's one of the ways I choose these things.
Not by the look of it, 28 if possible then. That's a perfect number.
