Always probably had a preferred order of
Kawasaki
Yamaha
Suzuki
Honda
Owned quite a few Kawasaki's over the years and a couple of Yamaha's including the Fazer i have at the moment. Only had a couple of Suzuki's in my early biking days but the only Honda i have ever owned was a 250 Superdream a few years ago when i was proper skint and just needed something to get to and from work

Re: Just for fun...
My Fireblade is 2010 but on a 2011 plate. I've had it from brand new. I had a 2005 ZX-10R before.
The Blade has just clocked up 50,000 miles. I havent had any trouble with it apart from....it burns a bit of oil but only if you thrash it and the cam chain tensioner are a bit shit. I think I'm on my third one. I only ride it abroad so it only goes out in the summer but inevitably gets wet sometimes. It still looks brand new really. It has aged very well and better than the ZX10 did. I think that had done 35,000 miles when it went and it was looking slightly used. It was that gold silver matt paint though and that would start to go shiny with age, so maybe that was something to do with it.
The Blade handled way better than the ZX10 ever did, although it does need a new rear shock now, so I'm going to stick a Nitron on it. I just bought one for my Z1000 and it's a really great improvement. The front end on the Blade is sublime compared to the ZX10 but tyres make such a difference to that. I've tried a few modern tyres but they're all very wooly compared to my trusty Michelin Pilot Power 2CTs.
My touring buddy has a 2008 ZX-10R and he's had a few bits done to it, like a full Akro system a PC5, different cogs to make it quicker off the line. Mine will out pull his as far as I can tell. All mine has is a PC5 and a Yoshi end can.
I would probably buy another Blade, if they weren't so expensive but then I'd probably buy any bike if I had the money!
