Went into Sainsburys with two numbers on a lotto ticket to claim my free lucky dip and came out with £107. Must have have missed a matching bonus number.
I like to think if all six had come up I would have noticed..

Making somebody laugh out loud unexpectedly.
I was in M&S with the missus and needed a couple of bits from the food hall, so the missus gave me what she was buying to saving queuing twice. Hence I turned up at the food till with two pairs of 10 denier hold ups, six onions and a fish and chips meal for one. As the lady finished putting them through I said to her, 'That's me all sorted for a night in on my own', to which she laughed really loud before clapping her hand over her mouth.
She finished up by wishing me a very pleasant evening!

Poached eggs on nice toast. is there a more delicious, healthy easy-to-prepare snack?
Morrison's do a nice pumpernickel bread which is nice toasted, with a couple of perfectly poached Burford Brown eggs, grind of salt and pepper and a dollop of ketchup on the side.
Winner.

It's my go to! Though not ketchup for me.
Plenty of pepper, maybe some roquette and balsamic reduction. If I'm feeling adventurous I'll add smoked salmon or avocado

It probably is! I'm letting the 12 year old build it. He's proper excited.
I'm just passing the pieces and helping fix when it goes wrong

I'm just passing the pieces and waiting to clean it when he's finished
Fixed it
I was given a Technics Ducati Panigale for my birthday, good way to fill a wet lockdown day

In uncertain times I'm delighted to announce that I have received my winter contract details. Only until the end of February initially but may be extended. I have a job where many others are not so fortunate !

Nice one.
My missus got told she’s under consultation on Friday - first interview on Monday. So after 11yrs of going above and beyond, looks like she’s out on her arse before Christmas. The wankers.

Guilty secret - the kids bought me the Apollo 13 for my birthday last year and I got a bit hooked.
Got the GS, the defender, the James Bond DB5, the mustang, the Ducati, the corvette and a few more so far. Keep eyeing up the chiron and the Lamborghini but they’re quite spendy.

Power washing stuff prior to painting some of it. (sometime)
It's quite cathartic.
Perhaps cleaning the shape of a giant cock n' balls on the patio paving wasn't the best idea ever,as Mrs.Skub strongly disapproved and then I had to clean the whole area.
Quite chuffed to be called childish at 65.

Did an online French lesson this evening. Really good. Lovely teacher and I think she can really help my language skills. Smiling
(Smiling more since the first lesson yesterday was a bit of a disaster with someone else. Kinda shows that tonight's teacher is actually a teacher!!!)
