LOL not exactly, but i have Β£400 from sales of bits off the XSR that'll go onto the 690.

Firstly being a choice between a YSS shock and a more expensive YSS shock

https://www.brooksuspension.co.uk/ktm-d ... uIQAvD_BwE

https://www.brooksuspension.co.uk/ktm-d ... er-12-340/

Top one is the more basic with single adjuster, same as the Wilbers and Nitron i've run previously. Guy on another forum can do them for Β£300.

Bottom one is the more adjustable model which he can do for Β£450. It's a bigger saving, but also a bigger outlay.

Potter wrote: Mon Oct 04, 2021 2:18 pm Is it a 690?

IMHO that's a better bike than the Yam, it was too bland.
Yes it's a 690, same later model as my last one with rider modes, traction, abs etc..

And you're right, the KTM does bring a level of 'doing' and spannering and dare i say it, character lol.... which the XSR doesn't bring... despite being very good indeed.
This post is ages old, but I wasn't here and want to comment. I did similar thing. Sold the Superduke, went fazer then went back to ktm with the supermoto.
My gen2 fazer was an absolute heap of sh-t though. The smt sh-ts all over it and around here, not every a-hole has one.

Been to have a look, sit and a fiddle with this today. I think it looks great. Colour scheme shared across Mt range and blue is my fave.
The car licence triccity looked massive but surely useable for some and holds itself up at a stop clever. A 690r was in, looked nice and the bmw would have a place in my garage if I was loaded and had a big garage.

Cmc cannock offered me 5k for the tracer, with a 9k bike.
Wigan offered me 6250 for tracer and 500 off the new bike. More Incoming possible. πŸ‘

I love that 690R but they're big money

The big bm did look good, looked a heavy old lump and very low bars but definitely eye catching. 690 looked great, they also had a tidy 790, the 790 adventure looked massive compared.

I asked the sales guy about the QS on the mt09, reply, I think it has one. πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ
