Thats nearly 100°F in old weather.

I must admit that as soon as it drops to 13°c or so, I'm searching for a fleece.
Steady high 20s here.

Never gets down to 13 ;)

Because I left early today, the temps were in the mid single figures. Foggy and damp in places. Bodywarmer on full and grips on full.

It's a lot nicer now,but still a cold east breeze.

What is it,about 5 weeks until the longest day?

Maybe it'll be a warm Autumn.

Yeah it's still not spring, it's the middle of May and i don't think i've worn a t-shirt yet !

The good news is, the weather looks better the week after and weekend after for half-term and we've got a few days away planned.

:( :( :( It's settled a lot lower than normal and even on the wooden terraces across the way :(

Terraces outside bars, cafes and restaurants are open from Weds. And, being mid May, we "should" all be able to go and sit in the sun and socialise for the first time in about 6 weeks or more (TBF, it's about 8 months since we could 'sit' outside and socialise but who's being picky right now!! 6 week or so since the prefecture banned selling alcohol to take away, so all the places up here closed :( )

There's a sort of party at a bar across the way on Weds afternoon - curfew is changing to 9pm instead of 7pm, but if it's snowing I reckon everyone will still go!! LOL

Was trying to remember the last time I rode my bike. And it was the 30th of bloody April when I got my MOT done. I think we had a few dry days after and since then it's been bastard raining. I either find I'm busy or free and it's pissing down or even hailstones :angry-cussingblack: That's nuts for May.

All relative innit? I remember watching a programme where some Brit was hanging out with a bunch of Inuit in northern Canada. One of them said "we don't need our really thick clothing when it's warm like today!" - while he was stood a frozen lake watching polar bears :D

The November cycle ride to school this morning in the rain and amber weather warning for gales was totally welcomed with cheers and whoops.

At least in our heads my daughter and I could act like we looked like this....

Romesh Ranganathan. When the guy picked him up from the airfield in a T shirt in 4 deg C because it was "warm".

No Amber warning here, full blown gale, 60 mph gusts, and 3 slates off the roof.

Brilliant sunshine here, but a howling gale, got the front wheel blown out from under me as I was pedalling up hill and then had to really hold onto the MTB as me and the hound got to the top of the hill to stop it getting blown away. Then had to pedal to go go downhill!

Erm, nope.

I've just got back from a quick hour on the water and the lowest windspeed I saw was 38 knots and the highest was 56 knots. One of the toughest sessions I've ever done and, if I'm honest, not a lot of fun. Just reminded me that I can still do it when it's fucking mad.

At least I would have been OK if that had happened here, we still have the scaffolding up from when the roofer finished replacing the roof last week......

Other than the rain its generally been T shirt weather in Cumbria.
A few weeks ago there was a cold period when the North wind was blowing but its generally warmer now.
Besides, there's more wildlife round than Ive ever seen.
This week at work I've seen four red squirrels, a hare and a deer, plus the ravens were mobbing a buzzard.
Last week was several hares and maybe two squirrels, and a few partridges.
Can't remember how many pheasants, they don't count as wildlife. They're poultry as far as I'm concerned. Been a few weeks since I've seen a stoat but to me they're the most entertaining to see cos they just look like they're having fun, all the time.
