Usually quoted by fools when they break the rules. :P

Indeed. Most famously by Douglas Bader. He broke the rules, clear cut, didn't have a leg to stand on.

I doubt Bader said what I typed. A fool may have typed it though, but then it's a wise man who knows he's a fool.

IIRC, Paul Brickhill wrote his biography :)

I don't know who originally penned such a quote but I must be a bit backward or confused by who did what. ;)

Here ya go:

https://en.m.wikiquote.org/wiki/Douglas ... hter%20ace.

Bader attributed his success to the belief in the three basic rules, shared by the German ace-of-aces Erich Hartmann:

Rules are for the guidance of wise men and the obedience of fools.
Brickhill 1954, p. 44. Note: (also quoted as "...for the obedience of fools and the guidance of wise men.") In Reach for the Sky, this quote is attributed to Harry Day, the Royal Flying Corps First World War fighter ace.

It states 'three', but has six?

I had AZ was told that I shouldn't drive for 15 minutes and stay local to the vaccine centre until then. I went to Morrisons to get a couple of things so that took 15 mins and was fine. It was only next day I felt rough.

A friend here gets a text pretty much every day and a phone call three times a week from the surgery in London that he's registered at. He's told them numerous times that he's in France and is having the second jab on Friday - but there is nothing in the system to put in that he has had the jab here! So he just gets loads of texts and phone calls asking him to go get jabbed in London

I've got mine tomorrow.

I send them an email saying I'm a chattering classes leftist, young upscale professional and on the Fixers Flourish scheme, all Channel Four posh talking and never done a real day's work in my life.

They messaged back saying I should take the red carpet lane, will get fast tracked through and receive the side effect free Moderna vaccine.

I had my second Pfizer jab this afternoon.

No adverse reaction to the first one, and I feel fine atm. I'll probably feel like I'm dying tomorrow
