Yes, I see where you're coming from. Now that I have paid for the software license for my ecu I can get a dyno run and have the map fine tuned very reasonably. The good thing is that Parkitt is fairly local to me so I can do it any time.
I'm not too worried about the generic map as it is specific to my set up - pretty much standard apart from the akra with baffle in. I reasoned that yamaha will use a generic map which is too lean whereas my new map is closer to optimal for performance rather than emissions.

A - hectic
STD - plenty
B - flat. But better for modulating the throttle while trying to maintain a wheelie.
