I really like that expression “riskiness of displacement”!

“Chances of falling off” doesn’t sound nearly as dangerous…

I ended up in A&E once and the Doctor came in and said, "So, this is our latest victim of an in-transit separation"! :D

Some folk here probably wear a seatbelt while watching telly.
Can have serious accidents falling off the sofa :D

The only serious injury I've suffered from powered 2 wheel transport was falling off an e-scooter at 9mph and breaking+dislocating my collar bone :obscene-birdiedoublered:

I was wearing a helmet, which cracked during the crash, so I'm glad I was wearing it.

Fucking random number generator, crashing.

Getting on the ferry on Saturday night there were about 12 bikes.
Apart from me, only 2 even had jackets.

Lesther? Only leather was the waistcoats they were wearing over the club t-shirts :D

As we got off today, I saw the bikes that were already loaded when we got on

It was the Canarian H.D. club. Again all wearing denim sleeveless with HD club logo over t-shirts.

Too hot to wear proper gear I suppose

But I'd have been happy to do my motorway journey today in jeans and thin textile jacket, but had to bring my levvers anyway so had to wear them.
