I've done loads!!

Nothing interesting to the rest of the world, but :D :D

I've cycled a total of 10km in two goes in physio. Ok, gentle cycling at approx 25km/h (although given the electronics on that bike, it might be lying about distance or speed!! LOL)

Used the machine to do some leg extensions and curls - knee survived!!

Did more work in physio and had a fantastic result of an exercise for my shoulder in the pool

Also the table that goes up at an angle was made quite a lot steeper today - only did 2 sets of 5 of all the moves on that and then reduced the angle a bit. (Normally do 3 x 10 of everything). We went from 30 degrees at the end of last week (50% of body weight apparently) up to 45 degrees today - yesterday was only 36 degrees!!!

So I'm feeling a bit happy today. And, amazingly all I have is some aching in my shoulder and my knee - no pain :bblonde: :bblonde: :bblonde:

Got a friend visiting tomorrow with some dairy milk and some pork pies :D :D :D Not going to eat them together, but will be faab to have some treats :D :D

A friend is coming back from the uk on 7th June, so I'm going to ask her to stock up for me and also grab a couple of magazines I'd like for some projects. That'll see me through to the end of rehab, hopefully!!

Tomorrow is a holiday over here, so we have no therapies tomorrow, an extra day of rest. And Friday I have no balneo as too many Kine are having a long weekend, so there isn't anyone to run the pool!!

Lots of exercises in my room and more cross stitching tomorrow :D :D

Looking at MT-10s wistfully, and i loved this description! :D

wants for nothing.. rides all day without any issues. Perfect for a summer blast around. But seriously, don't buy this bike if you're not an experience biker, it will kill you.

Took the luggage rack and grab handles off the GS to have a look at how you replace the backup battery in the alarm and to give the area a good clean.

Picked the rack up to clean the underside and the bolts and top hat spacers fell out.

I must have spent 45mins looking for the final top hat spacer, hands and knees on the garage floor, moving bikes around, lifting carpets, I looked flippin' everywhere.

Just as I was about to give up, I spotted it wedged between the right cylinder head and the crash bar.

Bastard thing.

It's top of my goal list for when I'm fit and healthy and actually been able to work for more than not quite three months!!!

Proper made me laugh! Everyone (well, nearly everyone!) told me I shouldn't get a TLs because "it's dangerous"

Ok, I did crash it, but that was 100% rider error not the bikes fault!!

Had a novel night tonight. Walking home from town I passed a Spanish bar where a lad had a huge chocolate lab. Elvis and lab were getting on and the owner smiled, so I stopped for a beer.
Nice lad, typical Canarian, very dark and happy
My Spanish let me down so he asked if I prefer English. Then he broke into perfect English. That made it easier for us to talk doggies.
I praised him on his almost perfect Spanish. He giggled and said he was Sarf African and it happened all the time :D
Then we started having a giggle. Then his sister called and he switched to harsh language. It turned out it was Africaan.
Then he said he was singer and he knew lots of my pals. I played him some of Pen’s singing and he wants to work with her a bit and maybe get her a bit of work. She’s a great singer, but doesn’t want commitment. Maybe just singing once a month

Interesting night 😊

'Twas yesterday but it close enough.

I went into a Greggs for the first time, the tea was OK.

And got looked sideways at in Tesco. I bought a sandwich and a drink and when I was paying the till assistant suggested I should get a bag of crisps. I declined and that's when she looked slightly askance at me. I didn't know that if I bough the crisps it would be cheaper.

The meal deal. I fell foul of that a few times. When I went with my colleagues they said to get crisps, but I declined until they explained why and one said he'd have my crisps. I love crisps, so he didn't get them as I rarely get to eat them. :D Trouble is, it's not the £3 price that bothers me, more that I end up buying drinks and crisps I don't, or shouldn't, eat and drink! So now if I forget my packed lunch I just get a cheap sandwich much to my colleague's chagrin! :D .

And 'Your name here'.

But no spectacular (for either good or uh-oh reasons) driving from me, all very sedate.

YNH is a heck of a lot tighter than it looks on TV and the 'S' in front of the house is only about two cars wide.

As usual I thrapped away early morning on the bike,a glorious sunny Sunday with near empty roads.

I had to go up to my Da's house later and get the grass cut,so I was coming home in the car around 1pm. Man the roads were carnage. Groups of cyclists and miles long string of traffic queued up behind them in both directions. I did nearly five miles at mostly 6- 10 mph.

I don't know how any of those road users get pleasure out of a Sunday afternoon drive. I'd do quite a lot to avoid the roads on a sunny Sunday.

I've done a lot of cross stitch, almost halfway through the first big project I've started since I broke my shoulder - cos, now I can actually do more than 15 mins at a time (TBF, I'm doing hours on the weekend :angelic-green: :D :D )

Went to lunch and sat with three different people to usual - kinda of interesting but a challenge as the room is very tall and echoey, so trying to here anyone talking is a challenge but trying to understand three different people talking French was almost too much. I have an idea of what they were talking about, but not 100% sure

Watched Moto GP 3 and the big one (Canal+ had something different on instead of Moto2? "( ) and now watching the F1 :o :o :o Damn the cars have improved for the driver!!! Seeing one break in half and the driver get up and walk away is amazing

Dinner later then I'll go to bed and try and sleep better than last night !!

Mick Schumacher. Not as good as his dad. His dad would have taken out the leader on his way into the tyre wall
