Re: What have you done today thread?
The Gremlinette is 18 in a couple of months. Family have been asking what she might like and many have mentioned a keepsake gift. I've gone an thrown a curve ball by suggesting a private plate to stick on her new motah.
Found one that's quite good with her initials for c. £500 which is a bit generous, but I can ask certain family members to pool resources.
Whilst looking, I found another one, VE20NAH that is perfect as it's her middle name, Verona, that she prefers to her actual name, and her surname initial. Trouble is, it can only go on a car registered March 2020 onwards. I'm tempted to buy it as an investment and let her have it when she eventually gets a car young enough.

Re: What have you done today thread?
Trying to trudge my way through my work nursing a very very sore ear. I've had ongoing issues for a few years and I'm trying to see an ENT specialist soon.
Oh, and looking out at the sunshine wishing I could get out on the Trident.

Re: What have you done today thread?
Just on eBay. Been looking at loads and trying to find one that has a payload to take my weight! Isn't too fast as I'll only have to keep stopping to wait for Mrs T. I fancied a fat tyred one, Fiido M1 Pro, ADO A20F etc, but they are too heavy really. Finally settled on a ADO A20.

Mrs D got a personal plate for her 21st...it's one of those ones you have to squint a bit to "get", it's also based on her maiden name and hence doesn't work any more.gremlin wrote: ↑Tue May 24, 2022 1:42 pm The Gremlinette is 18 in a couple of months. It's currently parked on my Speed Triple cause she doesn't really want it but it's also her 21st gift from her parents
I on the other hand often wear the fancy swiss watch my parents got me for my 21st.

Was just heavy rain when it got to us, luckily I saw it coming so drove to the vets rather than rode.

You missed out the transition to FHIC first.

Re: What have you done today thread?
Spent the last couple of days taking the fairing off the old K100 after almost roasting last week when temps were in the 20s.
I was thinking of selling but had a fun ride out today, might fit some braced enduro bars, the high originals flex like a bastard and are also rubber mounted.BSK speedworks sell a 4int 1 link pipe so I could ditch the minging exhaust too.

Doesn't look half bad that Gregor.
It almost looks like it was designed without a fairing.

Re: What have you done today thread?
I’m not feeling the sheepskin love
The seats all split at the front and I think its been lowered might get it reshaped and covered but damn that sheepskin is comfy.
The sidepanels are going back on but need lugs glued on instead of the cable ties that were holding them before.
