You may know about Operational Planning but have still failed to pick up the nuances of human communication.
Nuance my ass.

It is not Operational Planning, it is Operations Research.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operations_research
Operations research (British English: operational research) (OR) is a discipline that deals with the application of advanced analytical methods to help make better decisions.[1] Further, the term operational analysis is used in the British (and some British Commonwealth) military as an intrinsic part of capability development, management and assurance. In particular, operational analysis forms part of the Combined Operational Effectiveness and Investment Appraisals, which support British defence capability acquisition decision-making.

It is often considered to be a sub-field of mathematical sciences.[2] The terms management science and decision science are sometimes used as synonyms.[3]

Employing techniques from other mathematical sciences, such as mathematical modeling, statistical analysis, and mathematical optimization, operations research arrives at optimal or near-optimal solutions to complex decision-making problems.

Because of its emphasis on human-technology interaction and because of its focus on practical applications, operations research has overlap with other disciplines, notably industrial engineering and operations management, and draws on psychology and organization science.

Operations research is often concerned with determining the extreme values of some real-world objective: the maximum (of profit, performance, or yield) or minimum (of loss, risk, or cost). Originating in military efforts before World War II, its techniques have grown to concern problems in a variety of industries.[4]

Army develops spray to kill coronavirus

A novel disinfectant spray developed by the Army that can eliminate 99.99% of the Covid-19 virus will now be made available to the public and used by military personnel on the frontline as they support the battle against the virus.
... and its cheap too!

On Royal Navy submarines there are tea urns on the same electrical system as the reactor controls. The lights, heat and oxygen will fail before the rea machine does. :D

Hurray! Trump-in-a-bottle! We're all saved.

If you know so much much about it, including its cost, what - umm - exactly - is it, Irie?

Edit: ah......

2nd edit: 1st edit was because I suddenly realised - It's a spoof. Because: 1) Anything that's called "Virusend" must be a spoof. 2) Anything with an efficacy of "99.99%" is definitely a spoof. But it's reported all over the place. Is it still a spoof? Can I wash in it, spray the kids with it, or drink it?

I suspect that it might be a novel way of delivering Hypochlorous acid.

Not what I understood by brewing-up, in tank terms.

If I remember correctly it was called a BV - Boiling Vessel and most armoured vehicles had them. My Stalwarts had them. Not exactly a tea urn, just an over engineered square kettle.

Not sure how effective it will be. One county in Colorado has just revealed that 40% of the people there who are listed as died from Covid also had gunshot wounds...
Same thing happened in Washington State.

2 out of 5 sounds better, especially as those are the actual numbers.

I haven't seen this so just for my sanity's sake what actually happened is 2 people were shot?
It's not a new story. IIRC the Washington State story was publicised in May or June and was 5 gunshot deaths from 5000 covid deaths. Partly due to covid death reporting being daily, while death certificates take weeks.

A similar (but not focussed on shootings) finding over here has, possibly,/probably led to a change in classification.

Of course, a lot of people in the US are dying due to one or the other causes.

Yep. ;) 40% sounds like a conspiracy though doesn't it?

I'd like to think a better question is why these poor feckers are being involved in incidents that lead them to being shot to death, covids or no covids. Maybe they were trying to shoot the covids or testing whether their internal frequencies that had incredibly failed to protect them against covids was still proof against guns?
