I got given tramadol when I fell off my 400 - was ok for a couple of days but found them too strong .
Controlled drug now .
There seems to be more bike magazines in France (is this the case?)

I'm not sure about more bike mags. I've been able to find a few easily, but haven't bought a bike mag in the uk for years and years, so don't really know how different it is here!
I've always said that codeine, tramadol and morphine don't work, cos they have little or no effect on pain and don't do anything to my head! I could take tramadol and feel totally fine to drive!!
But I think the added hydrochloride might make a difference? Maybe. Or maybe it's just that they've given me sooooo much!! LOL (I'm assuming it's so much - don't really know the general dose!! LOL)

The Acupam looks a useful adjunct
Not seen it before -

It's supposed to be injected, its in a glass vial. But in the first rehab they gave it to me and they break off the top and tap it out into a glass. I couldn't tap it (need two reasonable arms!! LOL) so a friend send me a 'draw down/up' syringe and needle to help me
It taste VILE, the first dose I had on a spoonful of sugar. After that I just put it in a glass with a little water and 'shot' it! Followed by a large glass of water
But, again, it's not much better to me than paracetamol. Even together they hardly make a difference; a little, but not enough to be comfortable
As I said, I'm a weirdo when it comes to drugs

If I'd got into drugs as a kid I'd have got bored or dead cos a normal dose wouldn't make and difference!!!

Given a presentation on the subject of Intraday Liquidity.
Nobody threw anything at me during my half hour.
I suspect they may all have been asleep.

In the process of clearing out my Dad's house,I've loads of old toys to get rid of. Today someone gave me money for my old Hornby train set. Collectors were very keen, but it went to a bloke building it up for his grandson, which is cool.
Skub Toyz live on.

I'm nearly finished an 8 hour conference call on tracking courier packages, I'd rather have been in your liquidity presentation.

They give out drugs like sweeties over here. I have loads of Tramadol left over from my neck injury. I stopped taking them because they made no real difference to the pain, they just kept me amused.
Yeah there's masses of niche bike mags in France. I used to buy one that was all about custom mopeds - I have no real interest in mopeds, it just seemed a lot of fun!

Yeah,I could have got more than I did if I'd been prepared to post stuff. In all honesty I was happy the the stuff was going to be used by a kiddie and the guy was local,so altogether less fuss. I have loads of old annuals from the 60s and boxes of Corgi/Dinky/Triang toys that I slowly need to offload. Reams of complete year comics all packaged up too, ffs.
My Da kept everything from my baby stuff onwards.

I agree with the sentiment...

Met up with a few other staff for a couple drinks while our friend watched the football last night.
Walking home afterwards I was thinking, those birds are a bit keen and why is it so light. Checked my phone it was just gone 6am !
Went home slept until 11, woke up, still drunk AND hungover.
As a result of the above I have done very little today and I'm ok with it

Booked a holiday for October.
4 days in Athens then 7 on a Virgin cruise ship.
I’ve had 2 holidays cancelled since COVID so here’s 3rd time lucky.
It’s the wife’s 65th while we’re away so that also saves me organising anything.

Got up early, did some work. Took wife to work, got home, got the bike out and rode to the hospital (free motorcycle parking) and then got a newer hearing aid. Makes a difference and connects direct to phone via blue tooths. Much better for ease of use. Still need bluetooth dongle for computer, but at least this is a step forward. then went and sorted out some things at church, was entertained at the toddlers group and had a meeting in the evening for a Baptism in July. Then sat and listened to someone I am mentoring for 1 1/2 hours. Good time. Just been working on a sermon and have two more to finish for Sunday.

After singlehandedly fixing the GSXR

I had a stab at the angle grinder that I inherited. Stripped it all and poked and prodded and sprayed copious amounts of WD40 into anywhere important looking.
Now I have a second working angle grinder

( the other is a big scary fucker)
What can I fix next

How much longer will they keep you banged up Nogs?
Surgeon's probably erring on the side of caution, it'll only hurt when you're jumping over fences or break-dancing

Phew! I don't do either of those!!!
He wouldn't commit on skiing tho - told me I have to see what my resort physio says as he'll know more about the knee by then than anyone else - crossed fingers!!
I suspect if it was just the knee, I'd be out in 3-4 weeks or sooner. But it's both knee and shoulder, so I'm not sure. I think they would like me out mid June (recovery depending), but as there is no physio in resort until the end of June, I can't go back until the leg is strong enough to take my weight and the Ducati! Cos riding the bike is the only way to get to physio before the resort physio gets back!!! So if all goes well and I can support me and the bike on the bad leg, then it might be mid June!!
So, for now, I don't know. But at least I have some friends just down the road that can help me with things if I need shopping or just some friendly faces!!
