Today is Canary day and lovely to see so many locals in traditional costumes. Even folks in shops.
One enterprising young chap decided to make an enlightening art piece by stuffing a pair of Kalvin Klein underpants into to palm tree.
Proper brought a tear to me eyes

Rocca Calascio in Abruzzo. The highest of the Apennine forts at an elevation of nigh-on 5,000 feet. Construction began in the 10th century and an earthquake bought it down in the 15th century.

Bit of a trek to get up there, but the views were staggeringly beautiful.

I should add that this bowl is a serving for one person. Shared between four and we struggled.

We couldn't manage a meat course, but did force down dessert.

Odd, but we only went away for 6 days but in that time all my trousers seem to have shrunk.
