Here we have a bunch of men discussing who should or shouldn't go into women's toilets following on from a discussion about who women should or shouldn't be prepared to have sex with?

How very 'men'.

But you’re right: when a man starts pretending to be a woman, I certainly think he’s pretending to be a woman.

If I tell the people around me I’m a woman, what rights will I lose?
The right to use the bathroom that is for the gender you align with.
The right to compete in some sports with the gender that you align with.
Etc.
That relies on male/female sport being split by gender rather than sex.
Trans activists spent a long time telling us gender and sex were different things so whilst it's not possible to choose sex it is possible to choose gender, now they have that concession they are saying gender and sex are the same thing. I could show you some maths that makes a very convincing case that 1=2, clever word play does not make it true.

Why is this hypothetical trans person getting their cock out and waving it about? That doesn't happen in men's toilets, why would it happen in a ladies?
There seems to be a theme that trans people must only be trans so that they have better access to sexually assault people.

It's a bit like an argument to not allow gay men in men's changing rooms in case they run around bumming everyone - which I'm sure would have been presented by some people as an excuse for their homophobia.
Most trans people are probably not a risk but there are enough cases of men claiming to be trans (genuine or not) that get access to women only places and attack women.
The PIE used clever words to convince a lot of people they were worried about nothing in the 70s but that wasn't true.

'Men still coercing women into sex even when they are wearing a dress' non-shocker.
That's fairly much the way I view it. Having a trans woman accuse a lesbian of not wanting to sleep with them because they are 'transphobic' is the same as the fifteen year old boy telling his girlfriend she's 'frigid' if she doesn't sleep with him. Sexual coercion is sexual coercion, no matter if wears a frock or trousers.

I speak as somebody who has a close family member who is lesbian. She simply rolled her eyes when she read this non-story and commented that it was just like the comments she's had multiple times of, 'Try a bit of cock, you might enjoy it' or the never-ending offers to 'cure' her by way of penis insertion, only this time, the person on the end of the penis is assuming the role of the victim, not the predator.

One point that always baffles me in these non-stories, is people saying they have had non-stop on-line abuse. I can't help but think that had they simply ignored the comment, blocked the individual, etc., the comments would have stopped. I do wonder how much of an on-line ming-mong ping-pong they got into. Never understood it. If a dog starts barking at you, you don't stand there and bark back, you simply walk away. Ditto with on-line arguments.

Good point, but the dog keeps barking; it may bite the next person. The Couzens case seems to be of that nature

So if we make it illegal for dogs to bark then that means they will never bite people? And should we ignore any quiet dogs that bite people?

Is that a bit of a straw dog argument...?

You could try barking softly and carrying a big stick.

My granddaughter is 12 and I'm not sure she'd like to see some bloke in the Ladies flashing his meat and two veg
Oh the other hand when I go for a piss I don't wave my cock and balls at other men
Yup.

Surely everyone has the right to be offended by that behaviour?
When I lived in France as a kid I did think it strange that in some places there were shared public toilets, I'd be stood at the urinal having a piss and a woman would walk in and go in the stalls, but I don't think either of us were mentally damaged by it.
I'm in France at the moment. They have a different understanding to us Brits.

Last time out here, I'd gone to the gents, turned around and there was a young woman at the washbasins. I doubt she gone in expecting to be offended by a man being there.

For a moment there I thought this might be some reference to a case in the US. A boy in a dress raped a young girl in the school toilets. School board denied it ever happened, father complained at a school board meeting and was arrested for complaining (!) then the father is held up as the poster boy for right wing extremist terrorists.

The boy is sent to another school (where he assaults another girl - in a toilet). Meanwhile the Justice department issues a memo outlining a number of new offences that parents are committing if they harass a school board. One of which is a Federal offence of making an annoying phone call.

It beggars belief really. I guess if your goal is to convert America to a Marxist authoritarian dictatorship, it's best to start with indoctrination at the school level. To do that you have to silence the view of the parents and also, let's be honest, the vast majority of people who accept the biological difference between sexes. Call them terrorists for disagreeing with whatever the Whitehouse dictates and make political dissent a crime.

If it's happening over there, it won't be long before it's happening over here.

I'm at a loss to see what that has to do with trans people.
Why did nobody stop the rapist going into girls toilets?

He wasn't a rapist when he went in the girls toilets, silly. He was probably just identifying as a girl.

He only became a rapist when he raped the lassie.

It is not a "trans" issue. Nobody really cares how anyone else wants to dress, nobody really cares what anyone else's sexual orientation is, in fact I would go as far as to suggest most normal folk actively do not want to know. It just so happens that this was a boy, he was wearing a dress and he did commit rape.

The entire establishment deny it, then excuse it before finally legislating for more extreme laws to prevent regular people from complaining about it by labelling the parents "terrorists".

The underlying issue is that of authoritarian state control, censorship and fake news. These stories are manipulated or sometimes even fabricated in order to develop a narrative leading to more extreme political interference in our everyday lives.

In don't know where all this leads but I do know I don't want to go there.

What Would Lenin Do?

If the US is truly teetering on the point of becoming a Marxist authoritarian dictatorship, all it needs is Donald Trotsky to win another term and the job's as good as done. oh, hang on.

'Influencer' poses with Dead Dad

As pretty as she is, knowing her dead Dad is in the background makes it a tough wank (although not impossible).
