I often ponder who actually buys smooth peanut butter?
The fact 'crunchy' peanut butter exists makes smooth completely redundant, imho.
Same with normal and jammie wagon wheels..
I hate the stuff so it's quie possible I pick up a jar of smooth if it's on the list as I don't care.

Leaving home 5hrs early because the TDF would cross every route i could take to get to the airport (closed roads), to discover to my joy that the fucking flight was delayed 45 mins so I could probably have watched it and got to the airport in time!

My peanut butter addiction
I love it but I can only buy it once a month, and even then the smallest jar I can find, because I'll be stuck in a cycle of making toast smothered in the stuff every two hours until the jar is gone.
Slapped on thick slices of apple is my go to snack.
Has to be
Whole Earth crunchy, mind.
I don't buy it anymore but that's my 100% favourite! But it's about 7.5€ in the only place I've found it here

I know I like it but that's just madness, so I don't buy it
I have thought I might buy some dry roaster peanuts and see if I can 'make' something similar
Dry roasted peanuts blitzed in a food processor with a bit of veg oil gives you, as near as damn it, marmite peanut butter.

Had a really productive day, building a new router table using the t-slot kit from my previous one which died when the shed roof leaked and the Mdf swelled.
All went well with sinking the router plate and t-slot tracks into the new surface, I then mounted the router to cut the slots into the fence attachment and the fecking router let go of all of its magic smoke
So I now have a new router table but no router.
Rutlands / Axminster etc here I come!

I get nervous when we get down to our last kilo.
My go-to brand is the Pip-N-Nut stuff. Comes it great big tubs and is nicely oily. I'm sure it's bad for you but wgaf.

I'm sure I've seen you write that before. Until then I had recipes that said roast peanuts etc! Too much faff. So at some point I will get a load of dry roasted and give it a go

Sans marmite!!

Marmite peanut butter basically tastes like dry roasted peanut butter....I think that's the point here, if you blitz dry roasted peanuts you end up with something which tastes like marmite peanut butter.

When folks lie through their teeth on Ebay!
Bought, what I thought was a u/s Tomtom truck/hgv unit.
It was sent to the daughters place in the UK awaiting pick up. Wifey gets back yesterday, i whip the front off, slot a front off another unit i have lurking around, get it up and running and.............its a normal one.
Too late to send back/negative fb, a bit pissed off tbh.

I gave up my uk mobile about a year ago. I've not visited the uk for almost two years now and hadn't been even once a year for three years previous to giving up the number. So I figured that I'll just use the french when I do occasionally visit.
Of course, today I finally sorted myself out, found my access number for premium bonds and tried to log in, you know, just in case.
Yup, need my old uk number to verify the account. Or to phone a UK 0800 number to sort out adding the french one
FFS!!! Here's hoping that the call doesn't take too long!!

I use Skype to call UK 0800 numbers from Turkey. It's free for when you're put in a queue, as you probably will be.

Yebbut it's worserer being in France without a France mobile # - most business just won't call a forrin mobile # fullstop.

Yep, the usual lies on there are where someone sells something as new, when it's very apparent that it's been used.

I have a couple of friends here that use my number for that very reason

! LOL (And cos I speak more french than they do!

)
I've had a Fronch number for about 7 years (well, the same one for that long! Had them on seasons too!). It's why I gave up the uk one, I hadn't needed it for sooooooo long and no one used it to contact me so it wasn't worth the top up fee - till now

some fucking bell-end just keyed the van !!!
He cut me up at a roundabout, then follows me into Sainsburys. He starts babbling and i dismiss him and walk off and do my shopping... Come out and he's keyed 2/3 of the length of the van !!!
I goes see security who directs me to the manager "we don't have any cameras in the car-park"..... so i says "ok, he came in after me, the parking thing that shows reg plates, can you see who came in next".... "no we can't.... but if you want to make a complaint...."
What's the fucking point in complaining... GRRRRR.
That should be more than a 'little' BYP, but to be honest, i don't really stress too much over things i can't affect. So i've mostly moved on.
I got the Transit Blue touch up on it, it's not perfect, but by the time i finish with the van it'll be a 120,000 mile van and it won't knock the value by the amount it'd cost me to repair fully.

I had someone do similar to my car a few years ago, he walked out straight in front of me and took great offence when I sounded my horn…
Local bodywork specialist managed to polish out the scratch from the front wing and door but had to paint the rear door. In hindsight, that was cheaper than running the idiot over and having to replace the front bumper / bonnet

Had a hospital appointment for my son, all on time so were only there 39 minutes. Parking fee, £3.70. What a bunch of arseholes.

Absolute spinless wanker.

I hate people that do that. Anyway, if you paint in the scratch, cut the raised pqint above teh surface carefully with a razor blade, then polish it.
