I can't think of a single person I know, no matter how big the garage, that actually has a car in it.
My garage has a car in it.

But you don't know me.

When I was newly fangled with a garage,I used to put both a bike and the car inside. My neighbour at the time said I was the first he'd known to park a car in the garage,as everyone used them to store rubbish!

It didn't last long before it too became just the bike + rubbish. It's now sacrosanct,no rubbish permitted. Nor car.

I had a weak moment sometime in the past which resulted in a chest freezer having garage space and it has prime space by a socket. Ffs. 🤦

My brother (strange chap :D ) used to park his car on the drive, let it cool down and then push it into the garage.

'To avoid condensation'.

Almost every car he has had since the 1970s until recently has been a Vauxhall. (I did say he's a bit strange  ).

Chilling and listening to the gentle swish of the new (Bosch) washing machine. After the clank clank clank of the old (Bosch) washing machine it's really relaxing.

Did my first session of Pool Therapy (Balnéotherapie) this afternoon. I bloody loved it the previous times, mostly for the shoulder/arm treatent but also for the leg cos in water it's possible to lift/bend/move the limb almost normally :bblonde:

After four weeks of no weight bearing and struggling to bend/extend properly (the physios are really happy with the leg movement, but it's not easy or particularly comfortable to do)

Sooo - 30 mins of doing similar exercises in the pool that I do lying down in the physio room; only in the pool I'm standing and can lift/bend/extend sooooo -much easier!

Aaand did some arm exercises to help the arm. Then the physio suggested I use a couple of "chips" (long polystyrene tubes that we use to float) and just lie back in the water (pretty warm, so relaxing!). First time I've been able to just relax for ages!! (I so need a home with a bath, at least that is partway there!!).

Now totally knackered but smiling a lot!!! :bblonde: :bblonde: :bblonde: :bblonde: :bblonde:

Drove through London on Sunday morning - South of the river up to the M11. I never do that, partly because of my general location, mainly because everyone makes it sound such a ball ache. But. It turns out if you get lucky with traffic then it can be quite fun cruising through the narrow and winding backstreets. And parts of the big smoke are quite pleasant. This foreign country peasant was quite surprised.

Yesterday at work was Consultation Period stuff for redundancy.

We got an email from above saying "if you were not informed yesterday, you're OK for now"

So that may be 6 months, or may be 6 months and the TUPE'd out to someone, but it does mean i'm not out of a job today at least.
