Well either way, i've canned the claim and i'll take the adjuster out and see what happens with a new bolt and straightening the swinger there, then maybe get that other one on if needed.

I've spoken to @crust who's seen this on Monsters with a similar setup too. We'll get it sorted in the coming days/weeks after we've done our trip to Belgium.

Got some more pics of the swingarm, it's used in a few bits, but the bits that are used are bits that I have on mine undamaged. So I've thrown them a bid of £110 for it. That way I can fit the swingarm and give the other one to @crust off the bike so he can sort it easier, just in case like.

I checked the part numbers before throwing the bid in and it's all the same for 19-21.

They came back at £120.... So it's bought and paid.

Well done. Being a new bike it'll all come apart easily and nothing will be rusted in etc. Should be an easy job.

Yeah will be 2 weeks time as got racing this weekend, then off to Belgium cycling the weekend after.

It doesn't look too tricky a job, couple of spacers, bearings/sleeves etc... but essentially getting there shouldn't be too tough.

I'm guessing this is perfectly rideable ? I've got to shoot to the office later today and it'd be nice to jump on the bike for the trip in.

Am assuming you've got an adjuster block back in there and the wheel properly aligned?
I defo wouldn't be riding it without that

No, not currently. Hence my question.

I assumed the axle nut holding things in place would be sufficient. But if not, i'll take the car into work.

I've got the parts if i wanted to go down he quick fix route, but as i've got the swingarm coming, i may as well keep the Fowlers parts aside and if i don't need them at all i can get £60 back by returning them bits.

Looking at the tracking, the swingarm is out for delivery today..

So if either @dern or even @Tricky fancy coming over to sanity check, i may even get it whipped on there later

No it isn't rideable. The torque will likely move the wheel out of alignment with the possibility of the chain coming off and locking up the rear wheel etc.

If you had an endplate and some nuts, yeah.

Without them you're relying on the clamping force of the axle nut to stop the axle moving in the slot.

It might be fine, but it might not.

Not worth the risk on a shiny new bike, imho.

Yeah no worries... the replacement swingarm has arrived this morning... UPS always come early here for some reason.

I can't fit it by 9am though that's for sure

I wouldn't want to ride it without those bits,just asking for trouble,even at a slow pace. It's not worth having to buy more bits..or worse.

Swingarm is nice... most happy with it... but thought i'd look and see how the chain adjuster ends worked as it is.

So the metal coloured end cap fits into the slot of the swingarm, so 95% of it is fully attached and correct. It's going absolutely nowhere.

So it'll stay like that until me and Crust get time.

Yes, i've torqued up the nuts this time lol

Just get a small drift on that and tap away it'll be barely noticable, the second hand swingarm will have more marks, get that one powdercoated and swap when it's like new

Yes possibly matey. I'll let @crust look in person in 2 weekends time.

Lets be honest, it's going into a dealer when it goes and even if they notice it and knock off a couple of hundred quid i won't much give a toss anyhow.
