I buy a MegaMillions lottery ticket every week, valid for the Tuesday & Friday draw. They have a random multiplier so you never get the base prize ($5) for matching the Mega #. The multipliers are 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x & 10x. This week I had the 4x multiplier.
On Tuesday I matched the Mega # (which was 23), so $20
Tonight's draw had the same Mega # and I also had one other number for 4x $7
So $48 this week
Plus I also matched the Mega # once last week on a 3x multiplier, so $15 last week too.

A couple of things over last day or so:
Receiving my chef’s knives back from Kin Knives having been sharpened for the first time in 5 years, free service but I needed to pay for return postage. It took a couple of weeks from posting to receiving them back. They are again foo Kin sharp
Coffee machine was playing up, Nespresso arranged collection, repair and return, all within 4 days of registering the fault which is pretty impressive. I have just tested it and it is as good as new

Mrs. Gremlin singing along to Meatloaf: 'Paradise by the gas board light'
I think I prefer those lyrics.

And the new addition to the Chez Gremlin household, Magda* the robot vac and mop. Bloody hell, it does a good job of keeping the floors clean, even up against Sydney's furballs and muddy footprints.
The colour of the waste water when it finished mopping the floors was disgusting.
*We had to call it something and Magda just came to mind.

Well, she speaks to me, so rude not to.
It also has a live feed camera, so that you can watch the cleaning in first person view.
Mind you, having seen a clip of Gladiators with the Walsh father and son double act, watching a bit of low-level mopping around the hallway seems positively entertaining in comparison.

Carnaval
In February and March each town has Carnaval week. Lots of parties and bands culminating in huge parade through the town.
This island loves to party. All the shops shut and it's like Xmas.
This week it's our town. The council has put up a huge stage and there's bands on every night. All free.
I'm sat 400 yards away and can hear them warming up.
Saturday is the big parade. Dozens of huge floats and probably 1,000 folk.
All the locals get dressed up as well.
Paaaaarrrrttyyyyyyy
