Checked next weeks safety documentation and trained/showed the new starter how to do it. Road to Canterbury and back. First longer ride on the Triumph. 100 odd miles. The rear shock is horrid. No damping and it is in need of servicing or replacement. Other than that the engine was fine, ran smoothly even though it is approaching 59k miles. Goes very well and has that smooth power for road riding.

This morning I'm woken by KISSstory playing loudly in the lounge. I can't get in the bathroom and her boots are laying across the living room floor and there's a cup, bowl and plate on the living room floor as well and the kitchen looks like a war zone. My phone is unplugged and hers is plugged in.

She's a malevolent force, but God she livens the place up and its lovely to have her home - I think!

Back home after my second 5am start of the weekend. At least today was pretty simple - here, GVA, Meribel, home; unlike yesterday's marathon!! Luckily the last job yesterday was delayed, so I could quit at 12 hours and go to bed!! LOL
