It's a big pile of bills before you go back to a Tesla.
Its never the cost, its the journey...
The only journeys you'll be making in a Jag are to and from the workshop.
With the roof down and my sunnies on!

Cant go through life not having things, just in case. You and Piranha should know that, you {used to} own KTMs!

My BM is sat on the drive charging away merrily with the battery conditioning system keeping a decent temp, it isn't the hottest of hot days at 32 degrees (according to the bike on the way home that was happily charging it's rechargeable battery while I rode

)

I'm a bit late for my mid life crisis but 8 would do it for me.

Had 8's on the drive before mid-life (never had the crisis bit ) and that continued into the later stages. As I said to the salesman after a test drive when we got the first one - 'That's about as much fun as you can have - with your clothes on, we'll take it'.
At the time they were the near perfect balance of, erm, just about everything. I think it was a Clarkson road test where he delivered the verdict 'Best British sports car ever made'.

that got me interested. (After he'd said sports cars make absolutely no sense in the UK - and he had a point).

I was hoping to get mine for August, but they've just done a minor model refresh and it will be October before I get it. Bit annoying...

Well, I just sold my milk float. I have to say it was a faultless car for me to own and the whole Tesla experiance was a very enjoyable one.
FWIW, I sold it through CarWow and it was a pretty good experiance and it achieved £1800 more than WBAC offered.

I take it, the Tesla was a previous 'keeper' then?
What you getting instead? I'm just not getting to drive my model 3 enough!!

I've booked a Tesla test drive for next week. Model 3 AWD. My VW campervan is up for sale for a down payment.

The Tesla was never a keeper, I just wanted to try an EV. I'm going back to a convertible, probably a Jag f-type as thats an itch I need to scratch.

I know the MX5 is the 'budget crisis' option but I tried to convince the missus that she should have the 'sensible crisis' Boxster to replace the first MX5.
Nope. She didn't even test drive the Boxster, just sat in one pulled a face and said 'Let's go to the Mazda dealer'.
Mind you, she must be the only person that ever had a second Vauxhall Frontera*.
*Actually pretty good in a 'keep it simple' sort of way.

About 1996, ahead of the SUV boom, a mate bought one for his wife.
Lots of jibes from colleagues, "Ho ho ho, be going off-road, will she?"
His reply: "Have you not heard about my wife's driving?"
She knocked him off his K-RS
She knocked down 30 ft of a neighbour's garden wall
She hit one of their cars with the other one
