If you're a fan of top-heavy tea trolley handling. I had to ride one for instructing at one school I worked at. Ghastly thing.Dodgy69 wrote: Mon Mar 30, 2026 2:47 pm https://ebay.us/m/WWx2YO
Plenty of bike for under 500. Nottingham.
Drop the forks through the yokes a bit (the Spreed Triple effectively did this but used shorter stanchions) and it quickens the steering up a fair bit. Still top heavy at walking pace but once above 5mph mine handles pretty well. OEM rear shocks get tired quickly but plenty of aftermarket which add compression and rebound damping. Sensitive to fork oil too just putting fresh in mine helped enormously and apparently straight rate springs and heavier than stock oil improves things further. You can put emualtors and stuff in them too. Those front brakes on that Trident are supposedly awful but the 4pots off the Daytona (or later Sprints, Trophys etc) are a straight swap and there are plenty about. The Spin Doctor wrote: Mon Mar 30, 2026 4:25 pmIf you're a fan of top-heavy tea trolley handling.
