Just one thing after another, fuck the BBC.

The mother of a missing chef says she has still not had an apology from the BBC after letters were sent demanding TV licence payments from her daughter - 14 years after she mysteriously disappeared.

Claudia Lawrence disappeared from York on 18 March, 2009, prompting the biggest and most complex missing person inquiry in the history of North Yorkshire Police.

Her mother, Joan Lawrence, has said letters were being sent to her daughter's cottage for her TV licence fee, with one recently even threatening court action and a £1,000 fine.

SVB collapse may be start of ‘slow rolling crisis’, warns BlackRock boss

https://www.theguardian.com/business/20 ... larry-fink

The collapse of Silicon Valley Bank could just be the start of “a “slow rolling crisis” in the US financial system with “more seizures and shutdowns coming”, the chief executive of the world’s largest asset manager has warned.

The CEO of BlackRock, Larry Fink, also predicted in a letter to investors and company bosses that inflation would persist and rates continue to rise, trends that both contributed to SVB’s collapse.

I see Credit Suisse is expected to go under with it's main investor saying it's had enough.

Evidently it is beyond the ability of the BBC to prevent either itself or contractors from sending such letters.

When you contract out a service you do so to avoid the overhead of running that service. Direct your ir(i)e at Capita. As my old man would have said; 'I don't keep a dog and bark myself'.

Expect Credit Suisse to be bailed out by the SNB.

But the real danger is the risk of contagion to other European banks that trade with Credit Suisse.

It only needed to be not given the information once. If it didn't know the person was dead, it didn't know.

Capita are masters of losing data. I wouldn't be surprised if the BBC have been saying 'Get it sorted!' ever since the problem was raised.

“With thousands of GPs’ pension records missing data, the handling of pensions administration nearly seven years on from Capita winning the contract continues to be appalling, with GPs unable to access accurate information about their pension records,”

You've clearly never heard of GIGO - Garbage In, Garbage Out. If the input data is wrong the computer will always work on the basis of that (faulty) data.
