Mecum is either old men with too much money getting into pissings contests,or it's straight up money laundering. I can't decide which theory I like best.
Their prices bear absolutely no relevance in the real world, that much is certain.
What was it last time around,an H2 with the decals back to front going for $50k?

I watch this YT channel,Motorcycle Rewind & the other week he uploaded an episode on one of the bikes he'd dragged home,it's a old early 70's Honda scrambler with a custom 'Flying Dragon' paintjob, then the other day he uploaded this Mercum video

Some mad money being paid out/laundered...
There were also some cheap bikes in there.

USD40k for a 70's Honda 350 with a gash paint job? The world has gone mad...
The Mecum auction lot I was interested in was for the George Beale Honda 297 six cylinder replica. According to ZRX, that bike went for USD300,000 which to me is a fair price. Here's a pic of it: (I've got quite a lot more squirrelled away if anyone wants to see more)

Aussie mate of mine runs that Iconic Motorbikes web auctions company. He had one of Doug Chandlers Muzzy ZX7's go through that ended up with the drug dealer bloke who just got his collar felt.

The inlet cams are higher in the head than the exhaust cams, so the rocker cover is not parallel to the cylinder cooling fins. Which is annoying.

How? Just how do you design that and think "yup, that's the one"
