Whilst on me holibobs the handle of our Tripp cabin case went norks up. Stuck in the middle position and wouldn't stay or nor fully retract. Had to put it in over-sized luggage bit. Annoying.

Anyhow, whilst waiting at the airport I found the original email receipt, sent the necessary info and, by the time we'd landed there was a actual, human-typed reply asking for a photo/video of the issue. As it was midnight I left it to the next day, but when I did no more than an hour after I sent the bits over, I get an email telling me a new suitcase was on the way.

I did suggest just sending a new handle, but no, she was quite insistent that a new case would be sent. I actually sent a reply back thanking her for her efforts and to forward it on to her line manager. Proper helpful, and over a weekend too. Only a £49 suitcase, but a great example of customer service.

Not so much as making me happy that i want to jump through hoops but good to see Marcus Rashford playing good football again and scoring goals with a smile on his face.

Friends in the right places.

Penny flew home an hour ago. She just realised that in all the fuss to help her aged mum, she left her handbag on the plane. Panic ensued.

Until I reminded her that one of her best pals works at airport and is fluent in Spanish.

10 minutes after the phone call, her bag is safe.
She's on way to airport now.

Wouldn't have been this simple otherwise

I've been out on group walk this morning, at one point we came across a snake about to cross the track. Rather than give it a bit of room, and despite several people asking him to move back, some dutch fuckwit thought it would be good fun to block it's path. Who knew that snakes can bite faster than a 60 year old bloke can hop around.

My youngest has had his full licence a year now, changed the job he hated and now works at a motorcycle dealer and is loving it.

He borrowed the SX1100 demonstrator the other day and seems to be working his way through all their demo bikes

I'm just loving going out and discovering new twisty af roads. They are so plentiful round here, literally, out the end of the drive, maybe 1 km to the roundabout. Just from that one roundabout I have 3 options of amazing roads. As I head down those roads, some give further options of more awesome roads.

I've never been so spoilt for such great roads in my whole life.

Was recommended these a few times but prefer fresh veg. Finally gave in and bought a bag and found they are indeed bloody lovely!

Honey Glazed

So they've just covered them in sugar then? I'm not surprised they taste good

Ingredients for frozen honey glazed parsnips:
Parsnips
Sunflower oil
Modified potato starch
Rice flour
Honey
Potato starch
Salt
Dextrin
Dextrose
Raising agents: Sodium carbonates and diphosphates
Thickener: Xanthan gum
Paprika and turmeric extracts

Aside from the expensive stuff,most cheap honey is now just syrup and more sugars.

Thats why I prefer fresh veg. But I don't eat cakes or sweets etc so a little treat every now and again wont hurt.
