Is the Montreal more of a spring/summer waterproof glove? (It’s not insulated.)

That would explain it. I did buy them as a winter glove with reviews saying they were warm and dry etc and I tend to go buy reviews than spec. To be fair, its only since the tempretues have really dropped I've had the complaint and was perfectly happy with them until then.

Oxford Montreal Textile Gloves - Stealth Black - Β£34.99

These are not a very warm glove. My hands were very cold over the last few days riding, so I reverted to my trusty lobster claws and despite the weather being colder still this morning, my hands were still warm at the end of my journey.

So I don't recommend the Oxford Montreal Textile Gloves as a winter glove.
These are very good for the price - https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorc ... prod/83815

I had muffs on the SH for Winter. I only ever used Summer gloves. I hate bulky gloves,it's like having a wank with boxing gloves on.

They are the dogs 'nads - had them on my old VFR and I rode through winter in summer gloves!

This 'Show us your muffs' thread definitely isn't what I was expecting

On the muffs being the dogs dangly bits in winter but i'll defer to your knowledge on how to ruin your boxing gloves

Just bought a pair of RST Paragon 6 heated gloves. Let's see if they help with my very cold hands, even in mild temps! They were on offer at J&S at Β£149.99.

Shouldn't be your problem, the supplier hired them, they should sort it out for you.

Sbs have been on to dpd. Massive backlog. They offered to resend order, cancel order or they'll chase them up and keep me updated. I chose latter for now, won't be using bike for a while anyway.

Helmet City have not replied to my email.

Waiting for refund off currys.

Happy Xmas from Dpd. πŸŽ…πŸ‘

Why, you tool around in a Chelsea tractor so ain't short a bob or two, yet want to save a few quid on something that can quite easily burn your house down whilst you sleep?

I'll probably only use them a couple of weeks a year, so don't need to spend any more on a pair. I'll charge them at work on the firms leccy! Saftey and spendthrift all in one go!

My old Arai was, well, old, so I broke with tradition and went AGV instead. Pretty much because I liked the (Guy Martin) design. It's a K1, so at the basic end, but fits well, Gold labelled and decent reviews so...

Also got a Cardo Freecom 2x to go with it πŸ‘

Cool. A mate has one similar and likes it,he also was a long time Arai fanboi.

I recently broke ranks (owned Arai from the 80s) and bought an HJC RPHA11 as paying Β£1400 for an Arai is beginning to sound like they are taking the piss.

The Β£180 price tag was a nice enticement, I'll be honest πŸ˜†
