Looking at the dangling cables and the angle grinder I was rather hoping he was dismantling it. :D

Have they cut costs by using the same swing arm back and front? :D

They could have put bars at both ends and made a pushmi-pullyu.

£6k.

Surely not. I was expecting a £75k bike which never materialises.

I suppose it's moot if the £6k bike also never materialises :hmmm:

I suspect the quoted figure of 5,700 USD is just the deposit price. I also doubt it will ever materialise in anything like the shape of the prototype.

Which would be a tad ironic in that there were several Q2s built and running. IIRC someone here either has a go on one or had a mate with one.

I was looking at those Q2s and wondering if they were any better than a 'traditional' design. Be interesting if anyone does have first hand experience.

I should have been on the Isle of Man this week, but as the forecast's rubbish I'm staying home.Been out on the Street Tiiple today & this evening I met my mates at the local bike meet.
Here's a couple of bikes I don't recall seeing before
Triumph Scrambler with spoked wheels, not sure what it all cost but it looked nice

My mate on the MZ Mastiff wasn't the only MZ rider out for a play.
Nice & shiny MZ Baghira

I think that Scambler is one of the cheap(er) 400cc bikes, just with a few bolt on bits

Wow that Baggie is mint! Even got the original people smuggler sized exhaust on it.

I had a Baggie and never got on with it and sold it on after a short period of time. But, I loved my Xt660X which i think is essentially the same bike? :wtf:

XT660X is quite different to the Baghira / Mastiff, MuZ has the 5 valve head, XT has the 4 valve, and everything else is different as well.

That said, two of the bestest ever racing paint jobs were the plain black and gold JPS cars and the red, white and blue Martini. Fags, booze and fast cars, probably the least woke combination you can put together.

And fast bikes!

I've never understood the fascination with CX500's. A mate bought one when they came out, I had a spin and thought it was decidedly average. In fact everyone who had a go declared it about as boring as boring gets. They probably haven't improved over the years, but each to their own I suppose.
