Do a search for the gov.uk page on it.
You enter your details, system identifies when you can have the booster, shows nearest centres and available bookings.
Cant find details. Probably different for Scotland or something. Ill ask the nurse as i am due a B12 jab soon
Ah ha. Not been six month yet since 2nd jab. 11th Dec

Dropped the "washed to death" ZH2 off at the "grown ups" shop to try ad clear the ECU fault. Taken down the blinds in the living room in preparation for new ones to be fitted tomorrow and later will be taking the Naughty X Trail to the garage after its let's wind up the had brake adjusters whilst on holiday efforts.
Also try and fix the n key on the Mac book as it appears I've spilt something sticky on it.

I presume that you have locked up the FUF, tranquilised it and stuffed a sock in its mouth as well. Please wrap up in bubblewrap, wear the latest airbag jackets (not doubting the veracity of the natural padding...) and take it quietly. Any hints of frost/ice, take a bus!!!! Take care.
LOL Weirdly, in general, if I'm concentrating the FUF 'generally' steers clear!! And I did ride down slowly. The mountain road was ok, even the 500m that I've always worried about was ok. The worst bit was in a village at the bottom, that was a bit more slippy than I was happy with!!
Anyway - someone had scraped most of the ice/snow away from the front of the garage access (I know someone in a truck saw me sprinkling sand on it yesterday so I think they went along with a snow clearer and took most of it out!!

) so that made leaving the garage ok
But fucking hell it was cold. I didn't check the temperature before I left (kinda didn't want to know!!) but the weather app suggested it would be approx -4
I had leggings under my jeans (not slim enough yet for the all weather textile trews

), a ski layer and a long sleeved top under my jacket. A folded scarf over my bad shoulder (under the jacket!) and ski socks! Most of me was cold by the time I got to class, but my hands

Oh damn I need some winter gloves!! Silk liner and 'normal' gloves aren't good enough!!. As my hands started to warm up, damn they hurt!! Luckily I'm staying with friends in the valley tongiht so don't have to go through that in the morning. But I thought there would be no class on Thursday (Armistace Day is a holiday here) but the others agreed to have the class anyway - which is good, but I'd made no arrangements to stay longer!! So, I go back home tomorrow - and the forecast has changed to suggest it might rain down here tomorrow

- then probably have to ride down both the next days
Making arrangements to stay the night next week twice as I'm not at school weds, so only need to stay down Monday and Thursday nights!! Hopefully. If the weather turns to snow instead of just cold but sunny, I will have to get lifts down
And, TBF, if there was a bus in operation out of season, I would 100% use it!! No way do I need to get that cold!!

Possibly rescued a dolphin. I say possibly as unless it washes up dead and somebody notices it's the same one I'm unlikely to ever know.
Anyway, me and another human spent about an hour in the water supporting it until it got itself together enough to swim off.

Virtually no sleep, pain 'sort of' relief wasn't even sort of working last night
So, dosed up with as much sort of pain relief as I could take safely and
- went to school
- then lunch at my friends shop (free out of date steak and stilton pasty - she made it before the weekend, so won't sell it so I could have it

)
- then talk to the new bank - I like the account manager there. Something has gone wrong with the old bank account and she has really tried to help but I have no proof, so have to leave it with the accountant now to prove the problem!! At least this new bank manager tries to help rather than ignoring me or just shrugging at me!! LOL and she used to work for the old bank so can contact them directly!! LOL
- then ride home via a friend's place in a village a bit lower than my bit of resort
Anyway, the arm seems a bit better this evening, despite riding home. Stayed at friends last night so I didn't have to ride home and back down this morning, but cos I thought I didn't have school tomorrow, I didn't take stuff for another night
But, I really enjoyed the ride home. I'm so totally not confident yet, which is a seriously weird feeling!! But I have another week of riding (if the weather stays as it it - ie, no more snow!) then I'll tuck the bike up in a different garage till March
Really looking forward to spring. Bike will hopefully be French registered by then so I can start altering a couple of things from standard (mostly levers to be fair!!). And get some new 'summer' tyres and then go build up some confidence!!!

Bought some more CD’s from my favourite, local charity shops. K.D. Lang for 50 pence. A Bob Dylan Triple Set for £1.00. One shop sells them six for a £1.00! I’ve been buying shed loads and all are in mint condition.
They say that streaming and the new found popularity of vinyl albums is taking the sheen off CD’s. I don’t care, I rip them and put them on my MP3 player. What goes round...
Two tracks from the Lang CD I bought: What a voice!

Awoke to a text informing me the van I should be battering round the Helensburgh area today and tomorrow is off the road with a battery fault.
Which makes me wonder what i shall do in Helensburgh today. I'll find out what they have planned when the office opens at nine.

Thought I was being careful this morning but slipped on a bit of ice by my apartment

So, back home to change my jeans for non torn ones!!

(also figured someone somewhere was telling me to wear the actual bike jacket instead of a down jacket with a road'proof' hoody on top (the jacket and hoody are more comfy for my arm, but the proper jacket is of course more sensible!!

)
The road was cold, but the temperature was above freezing and although I did do the first 9 or 10 hairpins 'upright', i was able to relax a bit after that. Still not fast, and definitely no where knee (or arse) down (to be fair, my knee has only ever touched the ground if followed by my elbow then arse!!), and once in the valley I started to really enjoy the ride to school. The ride home was good fun too (well, two very wet cold hairpins near the top that I was very upright on!! LOL).
The Monster is physically the smallest bike I've ever ridden (the 390 was way taller, narrower in the seat but definitely not flat footed on it. On the Monster I'm flat footed both sides with a small bend in the knee!!

) which is a weird feeling, but I'm really enjoying it!
Just chilling for a bit whilst I have a late lunch (well, breakfast really!!) then I have homework to do and another class this evening (online, so no issues with weather conditions!! LOL)
I did manage to meet a friend for a coffee when I got back, so that was fab - although the restaurant owner that I know (where we had coffee) was a bit gobsmacked that I'm riding to school!! I did say that I was too, but don't have much other choice!! LOL
Roll on winter and some skiing and actually working and earning some money!! LOL

Found out my mate, whom I'd lost touch with as he went off the rails, is now terminally ill and receiving palliative care in a care home. In his day he looked a bit like Tyson with his build, but now is about 8 stone and frail as can be. I wanted to go and see him but can't as not family and covid prevention etc, but was told he won't know who the hell I am anyway.

Alcoholism at it's finest.

I waited in a lock up whilst things were organised. A chap was called out and replaced the batteries, back on the road tomorrow, all the way out to Doune.
Once again I was glad I always have a book, and some food and drink in the van.

Apparently sold my car without them ever seeing it. They want to ping me a deposit so I don’t sell it to anyone else!

I’ll believe it when I have the cash in my hand…

Bikes now in it's winter garage. Got to ask them if I can also put in some of the bits n pieces that are bike related, and put the bike up on stands before I cover it. But at the mo their garage has a lot of 'stuff' in it, so I'll wait to put it on stands in case they need to move it!!!
Can't wait to start work again. Well, can't wait to get my first wages in 18 months really - so that's Janaury!! But at least if I'm working I'll feel less useless!! LOL
Trying to get motivated to make mincemeat ready to make mince pies nearer the Chrimble madness

Bit miffed as done even less than I'd planned to today. I thought I'd maybe slept funny and that was why something behind my hip hurt. Didn't really seem right but who knows. Over the space of about three hours from getting up it went from a twinge when I moved to a WTAF kind of pain. Hot needle/knife type thing. So I've been getting off the sofa for more tea, more meds and to reheat the hot pack I'm using to try and get the pain to go away.
It hasn't yet, so after Strictly I'll be going to bed to do some stretch type exercises. There isn't space in the apartment to lie on the floor, but I was worried I wouldn't be able to get back up without screaming, so I haven't tried!!

Samae with using the steps to go up to the bed - safer to wait till bedtime!!
Bet bloody hell - I haven't fallen over or done anything else that could cause that sort of pain. So WTAF!!!

Maida Vale and she paid £5 more than I advertised it for! And I sold it for £500 more than I paid for it 2 years ago.
