I don't think I've seen a steering damper attached to the filler cap mount before...

This could (quite fairly IMO) be described as polishing a turd, but it's the nicest 600 Bandit I've ever seen, and naff headlight brackets aside, lovely looking in my book

Given they have a small fuel tank, I don't imagine a turbo is gonna help the range much

Having had Turbo and non turbo versions of the same car i found having gives more MPG. Probably power to weight ratio

II can't remeber when I last saw a Suzuki Stinger & I've never seen one painted in Heron Suzuki rep colours before
I think that Honda is a SS50,never seen one from that era.
I had chat with the owner of the Kawasaki 350 Avenger,he said it was difficult tracking down parts.

Looks like an SS50 from around '67 to '70 I think.

The last one I remember seeing looked like that, blue, part chromed tank etc was being used for a daily commute from Sunderland to Gateshead and looked like I had a hard life even then....in about 1976.

Worked at the local Kaw dealer several years ago. Vintage races were on at Willow when some bloke shows up asking if we have any head gaskets for an A1 250 Samurai
I go take a look & find some

(me, yelling from the back room) "Yes, I found some, how many do you need?"
How many do you have?
"Seven"
All of them...

A while later I asked the boss if I should add the part # to that weeks order to replace them...
"er, no, I've had those ones for 30 years, I'll be retired before someone else comes in looking for some"

As a spotty yoof I lusted after the 350 Avenger Kawasaki. A disc valve 350cc 2T in the late 60s was about as exotic as you could get. I (vaguely) know someone who has got one and , as you say, spares are a problem. Lovely bikes though.
